A good price for an insulation blow over in my attic. Jake and Will went above and beyond to help by installing some ventilation pipe from my bathroom fans that I knew was missing from my inspection report when I bought the home, free of charge! Jake didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need, and was very helpful with the questions I had from the start. Punctual and communicative for the free quote and the installation, which took roughly 2 hours, from arrival to cleanup. Will put insulation over the air return duct, which was a welcomed improvement in the return air. I went from a R13 to a R40+ and the house is ice cold in these unusually hot spring days. The AC is running much less and I have Jake and Will at Affordable Insulation to thank for it!

We just had our attic insulated. Affordable Insulation came out, inspected our attic and suggested a solution (and a great quote). After talking this over, we scheduled some time. Their crew came out and they were very friendly and professional. Highly recommend them!!

Great experience with Affordable Insulation! Jake made time to visit our home and give an estimate very quickly after first contact. He arrived on time, was friendly, knowledgeable and thorough, and didn't oversell - he even advised against some work because the cost-benefit ratio simply didn't add up. The work was scheduled quickly, and the crew arrived on time, worked efficiently, and left no trace they'd ever been here except for the much-needed new insulation. From first phone call to finished installation, the process only took a week, and every contact with the company was positive. Highly recommended.

Had a great experience with this company, and that deserves a positive review here. The owner, Jake, was professional and friendly, and he took time to visit our home to look our attic over and to discuss options. He was very attentive to our specific needs and didn't try to upsell or pressure us in any way, which is always appreciated. He was also able to work us in quickly. The first day was removal of the old insulation, which Will and Nate handled. They were on time and very friendly. I had taken an interest in insulation and air sealing, and they were more than happy to discuss specifics and let me observe some of the work. Just really honest, hardworking, and nice people to be around. They got all the old stuff out and hauled it off, and came back the next day to complete the job. The second day was air sealing and blowing in the new insulation. I was amazed at how many gaps and holes there were. More insulation is great and necessary of course, but I think people would be surprised at how much air movement they are getting between their attic and living space. Will and Nate spray foamed these gaps and holes in ordered to block that air movement, keeping conditioned air in our home from leaking out into the attic and being wasted. They worked hard, and again, they were friendly and happy to let me observe and learn more about the process. After air sealing, they blew in the new insulation. I was particularly concerned about the lack of insulation originally installed because they didn't put much of anything into the corners of the attic. Will and Nate didn't hesitate to make the effort to get into tight corners to make sure the insulation made it there...in a nearly 100 degree attic, that's tough work. They were especially careful to clean up any mess left by the installation. A lot of companies in my experience don't go that extra mile...Will and Nate did. It's been spring weather, so too early to tell just how big of a difference it's made on our energy usage. It's lower compared to last year at this time, but the first real test will be this summer. However, I do have peace of mind knowing that Affordable Insulation worked hard to get our attic into the best possible condition. I can't imagine it being more prepared than it is now. If I could give one piece of advice to potential customers.... Don't skip the air sealing if at all possible. Jake, Will, and Nate made the whole process a good experience and I will highly recommend them to anyone who's looking to improve their attic insulation.

Great job and on time.

Two men showed up and they got to work after setting things in place. Will was very plesant and explained what they did. My home is 104 years old and I found out his home was older than mine so I felt he knew the importance of the insulation for my home. I had very minimal in place and he assured me it would be much better now. I appreciated the time spent and the work preformed. I would recommend this company to anyone needing insulation for their home.
