The Craftsmen were very good and the quality of their work were excellent.

The retaining wall looks GREAT! But the lack of communication along the way to completion isn't how I would run a business. Finishing the job also became an issue. The start date was never communicated. The workers just showed up on day. Upon completion of the wall, completing the backfill behind the wall took several visits, with the final results looking messy.

Perry was a pleasure to work with. We needed our brick stairs repaired and repointed. He came out promptly to quote the job. He was easy to reach and engage. The work was scheduled quickly. We were very happy with the completed project. Everything was done as promised.

After getting multiple bids, Affordable's price was best by far and their quality and customer service was impressive.

Perry and his team are exceptional contractors. They give an accurate estimate (timing & price) for the job. They keep you informed on the work being done. Once they start a job, they work until it is completed. It is a pleasure to do business with such a friendly, knowledgeable contractor. Will hire again.

The work had to be redone which took longer than I expected. However they did return and completed the revision. I would have given the 5**** if they had returned sooner to take care of my issue. Al extremely pleasant to deal with.

I hired Perry previously to replace a pane of glass, he was suppose to tell me when he would be by. But he showed up unannounced to do the job. I told him please don't come to my house without a scheduled time. I wasn't even home at the time to deal with the situation instead my poor mother in-law was caught completely off guard with my infant son. Prior to fixing the glass I told him I had a couple of additional jobs that I was interested in receiving some quotes for. So after the glass job he showed up multiple times with additional people unannounced. A year later I posted another job for quote on HomeAdvisor, based off of my previous experiences I was not interested in receiving quotes from Perry. However today I come home to Perry and his partner Al were in my yard. I never contacted them but they felt it was justified to come to my house without an appointment or previous contact with me. When I told them I didn't have an appointment with them nor reached out to them. They told me they thought it was acceptable because the job was posted on HomeAdvisor. Normally if someone doesn't reach out to you about a job, that means they are not interested in working with your company. I don't understand why Perry feels that is acceptable to show up at my house whenever he feels like it. You don't come to someone's house without a mutually agreed to appointment.

    Response from Company:

When I receive an offer from Home advisor I call the home and email the home. If I do not get a response in a few days I go to the home knowing everyone is busy. When I show up the people are glad I showed and show me what they would like. About a year ago I installed a piece of glass in a antique window for Jennifer. I told her I was coming that day but did not know the exact time. Her mother in law was home when i arrived. I told her I was replacing the glass. Her mother in law and I was joking with each other the time i was there? Jennifer asked me about several other outside jobs for a quote. I went back several other times to look over the outside work to be able to give her a quote. No one needed to be home for this. I just received a request about her pool a few days ago. I was driving buy her home and saw a car in the driveway so I stopped in to see if I could see the job. Her husband was home and was very delighted to see me and we all went to the pool. While we were all at the pool with her husband Jennifer came home. She was extremely rude! and told us to leave. If Jennifer did not want us to go to her home she should of informed me on my email and phone call to her about the pool a few days ago. When we sent her several quotes last year she never responded she was not interested in doing business with me. If she had done this I would of not bothered her again. Her husband is always very nice when we go there but Jennifer is always just the complete opposite! Come to find out Jennifer wants the pool demolished and he wants to fix it. If Jennifer took the time to email, text or call me that would of ended it last year.
