After TWO FAILED and expensive visits which included the installation of a new 30-amp 240-volt GFCI-protected dryer circuit and the replacement of the AFCI/GFCI breaker for the laundry circuit, Affordable Electric left me with an unusable laundry room. To avoid more costs and potentially more problems, I called in another company. Within 10 minutes, they found faulty wiring of the new dryer outlet and breaker, then found that the ?new? breaker for the washer was not new but faulty as well. I gave Affordable Electric the opportunity to reimburse me for the $1200 cost to fix their errors, but they responded with lots of excuses. So, please be careful if you call these guys. They caused me more harm than good AND were not affordable.

Do not hire these guys. I hired them to install 3 ceiling fans and light switches in 3 specified rooms. I paid them $2100 cash down. They came and installed 2 of them in the correct rooms and a room that was not requested. I have the POA and was very clear, even the permit stated was was to be done. They also wrote a check out and had my 81 year old father sign the check. When I was paying cash. But they made sure they were gone before I got there. Very rude manager. Stated that if my father had old timers that I should of been there. My father does not even have it. Don't hire these guys. More then this happened as well.

Showed up promptly. Offered an innovative solution to a wiring challenge for an old building, Seemed to have depth of knowledge of resolving issues. Saved some money as gave off-the-cuff on-site estimates to help keep the price reasonable.
