From demolition to completion, working with Dan Kies of Affordable Construction was a great experience. He took on our extensive and complex back yard project with confidence, creativity, and skill. Dan is, in a word, dependable. This project started with the demolition and removal of an old wood deck, pergola, retaining wall, planter boxes, and hot tub. The end result is a beautiful Alan block retaining wall, two sets of stone stairs with handrails, a concrete patio with electrical hook-up for the new spa, an aluminum pergola with a solid roof, and, as an added bonus, an expansive Alan block planting bed. Dan has a positive, solutions-oriented attitude that cannot be beaten. His workers were all polite and hardworking. I would highly recommend Affordable Construction for your project!

Danny did an outstanding job on replacing our septic system. We weren’t looking forward to having it done, however Danny made this process very easy for us. Danny did flawless work and had it done a lot sooner than we expected. He took the time to explain the process of replacing the septic system, answered all our questions and addressed any concerns we had. Danny not only does tremendous work, but he is an honest and good guy. I would recommend him for sure if you need to hire a contractor for some work.

Dan and his guys did and excellent job on my driveway addition and he also installed an RV gate for me as well. Dan went above and beyond what I expected. Dan kept me informed throughout the project and got back to me with any questions that I had in a prompt manner. I would use Dan again and I will refer him to anyone looking for concrete work.

Daniel Kies is a man of integrity, great skill, professionalism, and has a great deal of personal warmth and sincere caring for his customers. We were slammed with a costly septic repair issue and, fortunately, we found Dan who did an excellent job in a timely, conscientious, and very fair-priced manner. Also, he took a great deal of time to educate us about our system, and most importantly, how to care for it to extend it's life and prevent future issues - he's not just out for the almighty dollar - we can't recommend him highly enough!
