A-Plus Water Services, Inc., a local, family owned and operated business serving Snohomish, South Skagit, North King Counties and Camano Island areas since 1991. Over the past 20 years, we've seen a number of competitors enter the marketplace. Some are gone and a few are still around. What's the secret to our success and longevity? It's no secret. We treat our customers the way we would like to be treated. We use first rate materials, do a thorough job and clean up behind us. A new well pump should last 10 years or more and we do our best to see that it does. Quality doesn't have to cost more. Service companies are only as good as their employees. Sales and service people come and go. We are family owned and family run. When you call you get prompt, courteous service from someone who has been here for years and will continue to be here for years to come. Someone who cares, and knows that taking care of customers is what it is all about.(PLEASE NOTE WE ARE NOT WELL DRILERS)

Very prompt service! Explained all of the options that were available to me along with the pros and cons without any pressure as to which way to go. He was very professional and answered any questions that I had. I understand that well and pump services can be expensive but if you do the math, in the long run, it is far cheaper than city water! I highly recommend A-plus to anyone with well and pump issues!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We were having serious problems w/ our well. They were out the next morning after I posted my problem. Excellent quality of work and customer service. Our water pressure is the best it's ever been, This was after several other services worked on our well. Wish I'd known about Bob before I called the other guys.

Criminal Background Check

Who does HomeAdvisor background check?

The owner or principal of each business in HomeAdvisor's network (with the exception of Corporate Accounts) must pass a background check. Unfortunately, we cannot perform a background check on every employee of a business—the background checks are performed only on the owner or principal. As always, we recommend that you conduct your own research on the businesses you hire, including making inquiries directly with the businesses regarding their employee background check policies.

What does the background check cover?

We use a third-party vendor to conduct a criminal records search in the county in which the business owner or principal works. Our third-party vendor uses a national criminal database ("NCD") to screen service professionals. Business owners or principals with felony arrests that carry a pending decision or who are convicted of felonies in the past 7 years ago will not be admitted to the network. Businesses or owners convicted misdemeanors or felonies, or who have dismissed charges or arrests on their records involving rape/incest, sex offenses, or lewd and lascivious behavior at any point in time will not be admitted to our network.

Our background check does not exclude service professionals unless the crime at issue is a felony.

*The comprehensiveness of the NCD varies by state. Please be aware that the reporting in the NCD is particularly limited in the following states: AL, CO, DE, GA, ID, IL, KS, LA, ME, MA, MI, MS, MT, NE, NV, NH, NM, SD, UT, VA, VT, and WY. After initial admission to the HomeAdvisor network, businesses are re-screened if a concern is reported to HomeAdvisor.

Corporate Accounts

Some businesses are employees, franchisees, dealers or independent contractors ("Corporate SP's") of larger national or "Corporate Accounts". When this is the case, we may match you with the Corporate Account or with one of their Corporate businesses. The above screening process does not apply to Corporate Accounts, as HomeAdvisor does not screen Corporate Accounts or Corporate businesses.

Verify Trade License HomeAdvisor checks to see if the business carries the appropriate state-level license. Verify Insurance As a part of our screening process, we encourage professionals to carry general liability insurance. We require coverage for hundreds of services. Verification of State Business Filings For business types that require a Secretary of State filing, we confirm that the business is in good standing in the state in which it is located. Criminal Records Search HomeAdvisor uses 3rd party data sources to conduct a criminal search for any relevant criminal activity associated with the owner/principal of the business. Sex Offender Search We confirm that the owner/principal is not listed on the official state Sex Offender web site in the state in which the owner/principal of the company is located. Bankruptcy Search We use 3rd party data sources to check the history of the principal/owner of the business for bankruptcy filings by or against them. Legal Search for Civil Judgments We use 3rd party data sources to check the principal/owner of the business for state level civil legal judgments entered against them. Liens Search We use 3rd party data sources to check the principal/owner of the business for liens placed against them. Identity Verification (SSN) HomeAdvisor verifies the social security number(s) of the owner/principal for identity check purposes. This check applies primarily to smaller business entities. Identity Verification (Reverse Phone Lookup) We conduct a reverse business phone lookup to identify records matching the phone number information provided by the business.
