Just to put everything into perspective here, Mr. Leone brought a pair of 'indoor' shoes to wear when inside my soon to be new home and took the time to change into and out of as necessary!!!! Okay, on to the meat of the review. Mr. Leone contacted me within five minutes of HomeAdvisor providing me the results of my Pro search. He was incredibly pleasant, straight to the point and did not pressure me into hiring him. After speaking with all of the recommended inspectors, hiring Mr. Leone just felt right. On the day of the inspection, Mr. Leone arrived at the exact time agreed upon and got right down to business. He provided me an overview of what to expect as we moved through the inspection and asked if I had any questions or comments before we began. He even offered me a bottle of water as it was a hot day and he had an extra bottle. Throughout the inspection, Mr. Leone took time to ensure I understood what he was looking at and what he was looking for. As a new homeowner, that knowledge was invaluable. If I had questions (even if it was not related to the inspection), he would talk it over with me before moving on to the next area. The inspection took approximately five hours and thirty minutes. However, at no point did I feel he was moving slow, he moved with a purpose during the entire inspection. At the end of the inspection, Mr. Leone provided me with copies of all of his findings and answered any remaining questions I may have had. He also provided me with a new homeowner's manual for keeping your house in good working order by providing tips on routine maintenance. One thing that Mr. Leone did that really blew me away, was that he had a voice recording device and he used it to verbally note all of his findings so he would not forget anything on the final report. I received the official inspection report the next morning with his recommendations for repairs and maintenance. I would recommend Mr. Leone to anyone looking for a quality, professional home inspection. He is an incredibly kind man and I enjoyed shadowing him through the process :-)

Very nice and very honest with everything

I am glad I came to Home Advisor since there aren't many sites with inspector reviews. Mr. Leone was wonderful. I asked him to inspect a home that was over 40 years old so I wanted a very comprehensive inspection. When I informed a family friend who is also a handyman that Mr.Leone spent an average of 4 hours in the home inspecting he told me to hire him immediately. He informed me that in his experience home inspectors will usually take 1-2 hrs at most since they book several appointments a day. George showed up early before I even arrived to the home and looked at every square inch of the house. I must say after the 2nd hour I was tired so I don't know how he does it. He walked me around and pointed out every issue he found. I suspected an issue with the furnace in this home and he confirmed it and advised I bring in a HVAC specialist. It was huge because the homes furnace came on but was not working properly and it was discovered that the house needed a completely new furnace, this a replacement can range from $2500-$5000 so very important. Buying a home in the winter has its draw backs when it comes to inspections but he did a great job despite the snow and cold temps. Hire this man I don't think there is many who will be this honest with you. He looked at everything and advised when a specialist was needed.

Mr Leone was Very kind & knowlagable and I would recomend him to Everyone . He went out of his way to help us and saved us from a BIG Mistake possibly .

George was very thorough and took the time to show us even the most minor repair needs. We did a home inspection and water quality test and I feel better about the house now than I did when we put the initial contract in for it.

The inspector came out on a football Sunday and spent 5 hours going over everything inside and out with a fine tooth comb. I was very comfortable with purchasing the home after the inspection. He seemed very knowledgeable and very concerned about finding every little fault and providing full disclosure.

George did a great through check of everything. The whole process takes 4 hours and it is worth the time and money! He makes sure all of your questions are answered and gives you a binder at the end that explains each finding he found. Would recommend him!
