805 Termite & Pest Control, Inc.

I used 805 Termite to fumigate my house for termites. It has a clay tile roof and various succulent plants growing against the outside walls. I was told by Robert (the owner of 805) that the fumigators would inventory the roof before and after their work for broken tiles. They did not do this. I was told the fumigators would wear padding on their shoes and possibly put down padded boards to walk on, and they did neither. And in fact, they did break tiles. I was told the succulent plants along the outside walls (which were covered by the tent) would fair well, but the aloe hedge along one wall was completely killed, the large opuntia along another wall was severely defaced, and the elephant bush lost all its leaves and we are waiting to see if the stems survived. The fumigators placed their ladders directly against the rain gutters which bent the supports and put them out of level. I observed that the fumigators were not going to inject gas into a crawl space under a portion of the house which is not connected to the rest of the crawl space, and had to convince them to do so, as Robert was not there to supervise.

Robert originally performed the termite inspection and tenting for our home years ago. He did a great job, and we shoulda left a review then. We recently discovered evidence of termites, and remembering our positive experience, we called him again. He came to inspect the situation very quickly. Honestly, he was available to come the next day, but my work schedule delayed us. He arrived to do the inspection at the time he said he'd be there, and the inspection was quick and thorough. He provided a detailed explanation of our situation and the steps he'd need to take to address it. His explanation left us very confident that he knew what he was doing. The next step, soil treatment, was scheduled on the day of the inspection. That day he arrived on time and knocked it out. Some of the work he needed to do involved drilling through our foundation but this left no mess at all. What little foundation dust there was, he cleaned up. We felt the estimate was reasonable, and our final bill was exactly what he quoted us. The guy is super personable, explains everything in a detailed way, and is very efficient.

I have been using Robert for my real estate business's pest inspections for over 15 years. He has always provided honest, caring and competent service.
