Write a ReviewShopped around and ended up going with Jared at Red tech, nice guy. Initial quote was for $3500 on a 1100 SQ FT house then after they started on prep work Jared realised he should have quoted higher and asked for $4200. We agreed on $3800. I asked for grey with white trim. Looked good initially, after it all dried I noticed there were several cracks in the paint that needed re calked and painted. Overall there was not enough paint put on, old paint was seen through new paint in several spots and several sections of the white trim needed another layer added. There were also 2 separate windows that were missed. I would recommend another company. Took pictures of the sections I had to redo, wish I could put them here.
After I hired Matt, he increased the price by a couple of hundred on the day he showed up to do the work. Another day, he left work in the middle of the day without calling or texting me so that I could schedule another person to do the work since we were on a deadline. Finally after "finishing" he threatened to put a lien on my house if I didn't pay him by Monday. Neither Matt nor Jared the owner of the company provided a contract, right to lien or any other of the OCCB mandated paperwork to me at any point which is a fineable offense. Do yourself a favor and avoid this company.
On the day we arrived the scope of the job was increased as it was not disclosed to us at the time of the estimate. We did increase the amount at that time but not nearly to what we would normally charge for the scope of work we did. The job was under 1000 which makes a contract optional in the state of Oregon per OCCB regulations. The day I left early we completed everything that was asked of us first and on that day we stood around for nearly 2 hours while the customers tried to get us the necessary materials to complete the task which we were told would be on site when we arrived, additionally, the work that was done that day was not char.
Matt worked hard to get my floors done in the estimated timeframe and budget. He also returned to do a quick additional project for me at no extra cost. He was very polite and worked within my budget. No slippery sales and I definitely felt comfortable having him in my home while I was away for the week.
Great to work with.
They installed new hardwood stairs in my home. They look great and match nicely with the existing hardwood floors. He was timely, professional and kind.
Matt did a superb job on the laminate wood floors for our house. It was done quickly but he didn't compromise quality in the process. I highly recommend them for any job.
Great team to work with. Very knowledgeable and helpful from estimates to install.
