Write a ReviewDealing with Hanson's was easily the worst experience I have had in my 40 plus years as a homeowner. They ordered window to replace our window which had cracked. It took about a month to arrive and Hanson's then sent a crew out to install the window. After they had taken our old window out the installation guy told us that the new window had been mis-measured and that they would have to order a new window and it would take at least a month to arrive. Later that day we received a call from Hanson's telling us that, no, the window was not mis-measured, the box it came in was mislabeled. Out came a second crew who told us again that the window had been mismeasured and that they would have to reorder and it would take another month. I told the installer that I at least appreciated the fact that he did not try to cram in a window that did not fit. Nonetheless, we decided at that point that we just wanted our money back and we would find a company that could measure accurately. We called Hansons to tell them and they said no manager was available to talk to us so we just said to tell the manager that we wanted our money back. Minutes later, a third Hanson's crew showed up and proceeded to tear the rest of our old window out by putting a foot on the window sill and physically yanking the center post out, causing cracks all around the inside frame of our window. My belief is that the manager at Hanson's just didn't want to talk to us and just sent a second crew to force in a window that is not the correct size. Even after the window was "installed" the installation guy told us that it was mis-measured. After weeks of trying to get ahold of someone at Hanson's to register our complaint, I finally talked to a manager named Mike who told us he could send someone out to work on the window frame (which was the last thing we wanted, partly because he said I would have to take down the plantation shutters and reinstall them myself) or he would give us $275 off of the cost of a $6,000 window. I don't know if that makes sense to you but it left a permanent bad taste in my mouth as well as that of my wife.

Compared three brands side by side. Hansons definately best made product and three pane with insulated frames while others were double pane and charged extra to insulate frames. Hansons also had lowest bid. Sales rep courteous and professional. Communication with company and install crew very easy and prompt. Install crew very professional and courteous and did a bang-up job. would refer Hansons to anyone.
Hanson was a pleasure to deal with from day 1 to the last day when they finished installing the windows. Everyone I dealt with at this company made me feel comfortable with the decision to go with them, my house looks great and the windows are amazing, Thank You.
Rhino roofing subcontractor damaged numerous bushes around our home. Also rhino roofing did not clean plastic, etc. from neighbor pond even after I told them wind blew plastic etc. into neighbor's pond. Also, rhino roofing did not leave me with extra shingles, even though I paid for them.
Would gladly have Tim and his son back anytime to do work for me. Very professional, proficient at their job and take time to explain everything and answer every question I had. Their clean-up was appreciated too!! Hanson's customer service rep and scheduling office was friendly and efficient. Our very first impression with Hanson's was their sales rep and it just took off from there.
