Problems: Heater cycles on and off
Problems: Heater won't turn on
Comment: Our Hayward pool heater works off and on since we moved in- in 2021. I’ve taken the cover off and blown out the webs every year and last year I removed the little gas vent things and cleaned them out in case there was spider webs in them. The heater worked for a few weeks before going out again and then just cycling between turning on, the gas whooshes but fire never ignites. Then it turns off. We want to get a maintenance or repair scheduled in advance because we know the busy season for pools are coming. We also need someone to look at the heater and tell us if it’s worth it to keep the heater and fix it, or replace the heater altogether. We’re trying to do the option that saves us the most money.
