We were actually out of town when he was available to do the work, so he worked with us to get the job done in our absence, and agreed to settle up payment once we were home to visually inspect - this worked out really well for us! Most importantly, to me, was their thoroughness & attention to detail. For my 900 sq. ft. 1949 home, they quoted me for 5 days of work and 2 coats of paint but ended up working for 6.5 days and applying 3 coats to all trim - no additional charge. After suggesting that I buy all new door hinges since the old ones were covered in layers of old paint (and me telling them that wasn't in my budget), they went over & above by taking it on themselves to apply paint thinner to all the hinges! This was/is my first home, and Gene said he remembered that feeling & wanted to make sure I was happy. Mission accomplished!"
