He was easy to communicate with, and his pricing was so reasonable that it felt inexpensive—especially considering how quickly and efficiently they got the job done. He was able to start within a few weeks of booking and finished the work in just a few days thanks to the right equipment and a large, skilled team that worked with impressive speed and professionalism. The end result exceeded my expectations, and the crew left my property spotless—with no trace that four trucks, a bobcat, and a backhoe had been there just hours before. His work was so good that we hired him to plant our Arborvitae trees and other miscellaneous work around our property, which he was happy to do! His work ethic is impeccable. He completed the projects on time. His quote was very reasonable for the amount of work (we did compare with several other contractors). Also, he was the ONLY contractor who brought a catalogue of his OWN work, not some brand name book showing edited pictures to look good. HIGHLY RECOMMEND hiring Chris for your hardscape project. You will not be disappointed."

"Christian went above and beyond to help me with a tough tile project in my bathroom. There were 7 broken ceramic tiles and a missing threshold. He was able to replace the tiles with some new ceramic tiles that I found and create a square design with smaller Italian tiles I had, which came out beautifully and he also fixed the cement underneath to create a smooth and even floor, and regrout, and installed a beautiful new marble threshold. After a few conversations, I quickly noticed that he is passionate and cares about delivering quality work and communicates with you about the process to ensure that you are happy with the outcome. Also, he is flexible and adaptable and takes great pride in his craftsmanship, and I can see why he has so many excellent reviews. He is not only a very hard working man, who is committed to giving it his all, he cares deeply about working with you to ensure your project is done professionally, honestly, and affordably. "I hired Tom and his company after seeing all positive reviews in HomeAdvisor, they cleaned my old concrete garage floor and resurfaced it. It took a couple a of days for the floor to dry, and a primer coating was applied, and then the last coating, I learned it is a Polymer. Anyway, the floor looks good and solid afterwards, we have been using it daily now, great job Tom."

"Hilario made a patio, fixed a concrete step, removed a concrete foundation wall, and hauled away a brush pile. He also cut down a tree for my neighbor. He has great communication and followup, he shared pictures as examples of his work and brought over sample patio stones to select. He let me know promptly when rain delayed the start date, and answered my questions about his plan. He moved a plant I wanted to keep, which showed good thoughtfulness. Excellent quality work, efficient completion. I'd work with him again."

"Originally hired MJ Masonry to replace an existing railroad tie retaining wall and like most projects there was mission creep. I asked Michael of MJ Masonry if they were interested in taking on 2 additional projects: replacing an old stockade fence with a new one, and replacing a cement walkway with a stone walkway. We agreed on the price of the 2 additions and all projects were completed to the original schedule within 3 weeks of the start date. Details of the projects: 1. Retaining Stone Wall is over 130 linear feet 2. Stockade Fence is approximately 88 linear feet 3. Stone Walkway is approximately 63 square feet The workers lead by Jose are consummate professionals. They went above and beyond what is required to do their job. It was the little things like cleaning up after themselves and repairing annoyance type things that is not in the contract without being asked. At the end of the entire project, my wife and I were so pleased with MJ Masonry's work, we gave them a modest bonus. The icing on the cake was when some of our neighbors coming over and telling us the day after the projects completion that the Retaining Stone Wall, the Stockade Fence, and the Stone Walkway looks beautiful."

"Great value. Solid, great looking patio at a lower cost than three other quotes. Job was done on time, and landscapers worked hard and were friendly. Camco also provided free advise on work they did not handle and did a good job cleaning up, including taking away rocks and concrete. (This was very helpful.) Communication was a minor issue: slow responses to questions, and some stepping stones slightly different than expectations were installed."
