This was a huge revelation as I have had a/c and heat leaking into my garage for years and years! He also discovered mold spores on two vent registers in my living room and explained what could and should be done to stop the mold! He was prepared to take care of it right then so knowing how serious mold is, I immediately agreed to the treatment Which involved a Botanical Disinfectant solution. He also told me the coils were dirty. I have a regular HVAC servicing contract but that company has never checked nor cleaned the coils! Again he was very thorough and I challenged him with my major lint dryer issue!! I tried to clean it on my own but after 20 years of neglect - I really jammed up the lint in the pipe! He persevered and unblocked the lint. Yes I would definitely hire him again to clean my air ducts and dryer vent! Past air duct cleaners have NEVER ever conducted such a thorough cleaning of each individual vent (qty 20) and 3 return vents! He also was willing to negotiate the price too! Matt arrived at our house at around 2 a.m. on Wednesday morning after having completed a job 40 minutes away. "The technician was not only on-time, he called me when he was 20 minutes out to assure me he was on the way. He had all of the necessary parts and equipment on his truck and was completely done with the project -- replacing the glass and seals of my gas fireplace -- within 45 minutes. While the old glass was removed, he cleaned the interior of the fireplace and replaced the old embers, neither of which was required by the contract. After putting the new glass and seals in place, he then tested to ensure no carbon monoxide was seeping into the house. The fireplace looks like it is brand new and it functions perfectly. "Best Chimney Services LLC installed a stainless-steel flue liner and a cap/damper at the top of the chimney. The finished product, from the cap/damper at the top of the chimney, down the liner in the chimney to the firebox at the bottom is picture perfect. Even the concrete crown was perfectly molded with no concrete mess anywhere. Chris Hernandez and his helper arrived on time and got right to work, putting a big tarp on the hearth and surrounding floor and plastic over nearby furniture. Tarps were also spread on the roof. When the work was finished, everything was cleaned up, including vacuuming the area around the fireplace. Chris has a number of certifications regarding all aspects of fireplaces, flues, caps, dampers, etc. and can explain in understandable terms why things are done a certain way. He and his helper certainly know what they are doing and have obviously had experience doing it. A week or so before the actual work, a thorough inspection was done . . ."
