"Successfully repaired a Whirlpool upright freezer that was not freezing. Ace Appliance Pro called in less than an hour after I registered with Angi, and was at our house less than half an hour later to figure out what was wrong with our six-year-old freezer. I was prepared to buy a new one (which would fit better into our kitchen), but our "Pro" advised me that for less than half the cost of a new freezer, this one would last another five to eight years. And in less than an hour he replaced the whatchamacallit and fix the frizamabob (those are the technical terms), and our ice cream will remain solid. And he was nice to have around and did not mind us watching what he did and asking questions. Definitely will call Ace when the next appliance goes on the fritz. UPDATE: The repair threw the circuit breaker for our freezer and refrigerator. I called Moe and he was at our house within 20 minutes. He checked everything and concluded that it was the new part that was causing the problem -- and that many more repairs would be needed to make the freezer work. He gave us back our check, and told us we'd be better off buying a new freezer. While I wished we had not had the freezer go out (making peach cobbler now with the defrosted peaches, which thankfully were the only things we lost), I respected Ace's commitment to doing the right thing. I'd use him again, comfortably."

"I was very pleased with Andi's work. He patiently diagnosed the problem that kept the dishwasher from starting and solved it. When the dishwasher drained this created an additional problem with the garbage disposal which he also took apart and resolved. I will definitely have him back when I have appliance problems. "Jhonny is a patient and thorough worker. He was the first to respond of several service providers I had reached out to for a ceiling fan install. He came out the same day to do the work. The globe for the fan was broken and some hardware was missing. Jhonny came up with a good workaround for the missing part and took extra care to ensure that I would know how to install the globe when the manufacturer sends a replacement. I would hire him again for handyman services."

I have hired Umar and his team on two occasions: once when a washing machine failed, and again when a dishwasher spilled water all over my kitchen and ceased working. When you call, Umar, the owner will answer your call and listen to all you have to say about your failing appliance. He has seen it before; he offers an evaluation and orders the necessary parts so that when His team arrives at your door they will have what they need to fix your appliance. They get the job done! The team is respectful of your property. They wear masks and shoe covers when they enter your home. They explain the issue and the required repair. They are reasonably priced! What more can we ask? "We recently hired RP Renovations to work on three big projects on our house: paint entire interior 2 floors (including ceiling, 11 rooms and 22 feet high hall, all wood trims. All with different colors), entire exterior (including replacing rotten face boards and fixing rotten window frames), and replaced the deck floor with composite material. They did a great job. The estimation was very reasonable. Everything was done within 2-3 weeks of time. They strictly followed the contract as is. Therefore you want to make sure all items that you want them to do are listed as detail as possible on the contract. The owner Julio came to supervise the work on daily basis. We could reach him at all times to discuss issues and add-ons. The workers and subcontractors showed up on time (normally around 8:30AM but occasionally 7:30AM, including Saturdays). Painters (Jorge, Selvin, and Melvyn) did a very clean job by covering all areas and removing and cleaning afterwards). They are very skillful and efficient. In terms of painting, to achieve a better result, I suggest that you cleanup and prepare wood trims and windows' frames by yourself beforehand, since thorough cleaning and preparation was not part of the contract (at least it was not in mine). In terms of replacing deck floor, one person demolished the entire deck floor (12’ x 24’) within half of a day and the other person added extra support underneath and then added new composite deck boards within a day. Sorry that we did not get their names but we really liked their efficient work. After all the above three big projects were done, we liked the results and liked their people. Therefore, we asked them to replace all appliances in our kitchen and added back-splash besides counter-top as well as under-lights for the cabinets. There was quite some work that needed to be done in order to add an Island Hood, and fit the new wall oven and microwave. Jose did a great job in getting all done. Overall, I think RP Renovation is a very efficient and reliable company. We definitely will hire them again for our future projects. We would not hesitate to recommend RP Renovations to our friends anytime in the future. As a matter of fact, our neighbors had knocked on our door asking about RP Renovations’ contact info since they had seen how good the results were."
