After getting in over our heads with some DIY renovations we decided to hire someone to do our engineered hardwood flooring install & couldn’t have been happier to have ended up with Fred and his son Patrick. "We hired Valentine-Blade Construction to replace the collapsed awning over our deck, which had failed under heavy snow load in January 2023. The project involved demolishing the damaged awning and deck, rebuilding the deck with new footings, and constructing a new awning. The work was completed on schedule and within budget, with exceptional quality and attention to detail. Valentine-Bladeâ s professionalism truly stood out. Their communication was top-notch; they kept me informed throughout the project with progress photographs and phone calls whenever decisions needed to be made. At one point, they discovered rot that would have compromised the structure. They quickly proposed a cost-effective solution that allowed the project to stay on track without delays. What impressed me most was their responsiveness. Within minutes of posting a request for a bid on Angie, Jake Valentine reached out to me. In contrast, other contractors either didnâ t respond or failed to follow through, even after I contacted them independently. "Chris came out and redid the drywall where it was damaged, then reworked the multiple holes from the drapery rod. He did a great job filling the holes, applying texture, painting and making sure the new rods were level. The job looks great, was done swiftly but well, and he cleaned up after himself! "Steve and his team were amazing. We did this remodel from out of state. Steve paid attention to all the details from start to finish. He provided great customer service. He sent us photos, called us and did facetime on all the progress. He met with us when we came into town to check on work. He provided top-quality materials. The entire inside of house was done (walls taken out, redo fireplace stone, mantle, new kitchen, two bathrooms all rooms painted, all new flooring, reroute plumbing into garage for washer/dryer, we moved into a brand-new home) I highly recommend Steve for remodeling work. He stays in total contact and control of the entire project. Very happy with work done."
