"I thought I had a crimped HVAC supply duct due to it being hung directly over the supply register. I didn't want to climb up a ladder and walk on ceiling joists into the location to rehang the duct (I'm 64), so Chris came to do it. When he got to the duct, he saw that the duct was not crimped (it wasn't very visible from a distance due to blown-in insulation). No repairs were needed. He explained that the air flow to this upstairs bedroom was poor due to the builder installing a blower too small to provide adequate air flow to the most distant rooms. In the summer, we have to close off other supply registers so that this upstairs bedroom can be cooled. He said it is common for builders to go cheap on blowers and one solution is to reduce air flow to other rooms. He had driven from Porter and his next job was The Woodlands, but still he only asked for $20 to come to my Atascosita house, climb in my attic, check it, and give me his assessment. I gave him more than that to cover his time and expenses. e.g., gas. He didn't try to convince me to use him to replace the blower. He was a nice guy. I will definitely use him again."

He was easy to get in contact with and very responsive by phone and text. During any design decisions, he always made sure to check in with what we wanted. He was flexible and a very reasonable person. He works with many renovation experts and knows the right people to call for electrical, custom cabinets, tile work, and roofing and engineering. My fiancé and I are very particular perfectionists and everything was completed to the highest degree of workmanship. After the project was completed we noticed a slight problem in one of the bathrooms and within one day he and his team were back there and quickly addressed it with no hassle. He tore out both of our old plastic tub/shower combos and installed a tub with gorgeous till work in our guest bath, and then turned our master tub/shower into a beautiful and luxurious walk-in shower. We asked him to put lights in the showers, and he did. It's so hard to find talented carpenters today who won't also try to take you to the cleaners. Mat is the best and is worth MORE than he charges. We can't wait until we are able to redo our kitchen. We will definitely be calling him!!"
