"Zac is a very knowledgeable contractor. He gave us different options, with pros and cons and allowed us to decide. And he gave us a very fair price. His crew is amazing, good craftsmen and hard working. We could not be more happy with the end result. I would recommend this company to everyone."

"Unbelievable!!! 10/10 recommend! Being a new home owner in an older house it can be extremely overwhelming trying to get the projects you want done. Old city came to my house with a multitude of projects on the checklist and completed each one with an attitude like it was their own house! They first fixed/installed flooring in the basement with an incredible amount of focus and integrity on the work at hand and it was not an easy task with so many issues left from old owners BUT It turned out amazing! I also had broken stairs, a closet maid to install and issues with a wall in the bathroom. They did it all quickly and efficiently. It is amazing to watch people take their trade to the heart to try and provide the best quality and experience for the Customer. IĂ¢ ve employed many contractors in the past with the Ă¢ thatĂ¢ s good enoughĂ¢ mindset leaving me with more problems than I started with, old city is the complete opposite. They come to give you the best possible outcome while also letting you feel part of the project giving you the opportunities to figure out what you want. They are so easy to work. If youĂ¢ re looking for quality work from a trusted Veteran Owned company at a reasonable price, Old City Remodeling is the place to go!"

"This project was our first contact with Sean. Our previous structure was old- disjointed and in desperate need of redesign. Sean listened carefully to our needs and designed us a space that we literally canĂ¢ t spend enough time in. Our backyard is now perfect- we entertain, relax, cook and genuinely enjoy our family time. His crew was efficient, respectful and clean! The job was completed in a timely manner. This experience led us to hire Sean for various other jobs in our home."

HomeAdvisor makes it easy to connect with pros near you. You can read reviews, get quotes and book appointments all in one place.
Depending on the type of project, you may find subtle differences in the hiring process. Here’s a look at task-specific advice.
You can use HomeAdvisor to help evaluate a contractor’s qualifications. We put pros through a screening process, and award badges to high-performing contractors. You can find these badges on a pro’s HomeAdvisor profile, and sometimes, his or her website.
Your research doesn’t stop here. Once you’ve found a few prospective companies, make an call to ask a few questions about work history, licensure and more:
In most cases, the responses you get to these three questions will give you a very good idea of the right pro for your project. If you have more than one front-runner, these additional questions can help you narrow it down.
Any good contractor will answer these questions, and most will appreciate dealing with a client that takes such an active interest in finding good service. On the other hand, if a contractor gives you a hard time with these questions, you probably want to find someone else.
