"I highly recommend Grit Builders, LLC. I had an addition built onto my house during a very stressful time of my life. Matt really listened and checked in with me every step of the way. The crews he hired to complete different aspects of the project were professional and provided me with amazing service and craftmanship. This project was completed within budget and within the timeline. I cannot recommend Grit Builders, LLC enough!!!"

"Noah and his crew worked fast and built exactly what I asked for! We wanted a covered space on our deck to enclose it for a catio, and they understood my vision perfectly. They even framed out a door with a secure latch so our cats cannot escape. We are DIYing the rest of the catio build, but if I need any more help on this or future projects, I wouldn't hesitate to hire Noah!"

"A&C was fantastic to work with. I would definitely recommend them and have already recommended them to several of my friends. I had a hard time getting people to come out and give me a quote but they came out right away. The quote was reasonable and so hired them. I had them remodel my small and only bathroom so staying on schedule was important to me. I ended up picking smaller tile after I was given the quote so the project took a couple extra days but it was totally worth it. The team was really respectful of my home. They cleaned up after themselves and they weren’t excessively noisy which was great because I was working from home. They all seemed to really like each other and worked as a really efficient team. The plummer and tile team that they work with were also great. A couple of faulty parts and unexpected things came up and they did a great job working around it and ended up finishing close to the expected time and cost that I was quoted. My bathroom looks beautiful. I feel like I really lucked out and I will definitely be hiring them for future remodel projects."

HomeAdvisor makes it easy to connect with pros near you. You can read reviews, get quotes and book appointments all in one place.
Depending on the type of project, you may find subtle differences in the hiring process. Here’s a look at task-specific advice.
You can use HomeAdvisor to help evaluate a contractor’s qualifications. We put pros through a screening process, and award badges to high-performing contractors. You can find these badges on a pro’s HomeAdvisor profile, and sometimes, his or her website.
Your research doesn’t stop here. Once you’ve found a few prospective companies, make an call to ask a few questions about work history, licensure and more:
In most cases, the responses you get to these three questions will give you a very good idea of the right pro for your project. If you have more than one front-runner, these additional questions can help you narrow it down.
Any good contractor will answer these questions, and most will appreciate dealing with a client that takes such an active interest in finding good service. On the other hand, if a contractor gives you a hard time with these questions, you probably want to find someone else.
West Linn Addition & Remodeling Contractors are rated 4.8 out of 5 based on 74 reviews of 74 pros.
