"I don't think I have given any company an across the board highest rating for all categories but my experience with 1 Stop Painting and Contracting definitely calls for it. The project scope was well beyond just a full interior paint but also included kitchen , bathroom and living room upgrades. The team are true experts at what they do and a pleasure to work with. All of that and the project was done on time to meet our move in! The house looks great!"

"Chris from Guerin & Sons was fantastic to work with! He really listened to what we wanted and understood our overall vision. He chose finishes & samples that aligned to our inspired design and provided guidance and expertise which helped us make selections. He also kept us regularly informed during our massive renovation. He worked closely with us through every detail and was very patient with our many questions! The renovation took much longer than expected, but mostly due to changes in project scope that were a result of changes we made. Chris is definitely a perfectionist, so their workmanship was phenomenal. I would highly recommend!!"

Punctual, Customer Satisfaction, Experience
"Kelso Custom Builders did an excellent job building our custom dream home! Mark Kelso was with us from start to finish, from the design of our house plans (and extensive excavation) to the smallest of details that make a house a home. We couldnâ t be any happier with how our home turned out, and after six months of living here we love it more and more every day. A great guy, great communication, great ideas, and someone you can trust. We remain in contact with him, which I think says a lot! If youâ re looking for someone to build a custom home for you, Mark is your guy."

HomeAdvisor makes it easy to connect with pros near you. You can read reviews, get quotes and book appointments all in one place.
Depending on the type of project, you may find subtle differences in the hiring process. Here’s a look at task-specific advice.
You can use HomeAdvisor to help evaluate a contractor’s qualifications. We put pros through a screening process, and award badges to high-performing contractors. You can find these badges on a pro’s HomeAdvisor profile, and sometimes, his or her website.
Your research doesn’t stop here. Once you’ve found a few prospective companies, make an call to ask a few questions about work history, licensure and more:
In most cases, the responses you get to these three questions will give you a very good idea of the right pro for your project. If you have more than one front-runner, these additional questions can help you narrow it down.
Any good contractor will answer these questions, and most will appreciate dealing with a client that takes such an active interest in finding good service. On the other hand, if a contractor gives you a hard time with these questions, you probably want to find someone else.
Scottsdale Addition & Remodeling Contractors are rated 4.8 out of 5 based on 106 reviews of 106 pros.
