"I was so impressed with the speed, efficiency, craftsmanship and professionalism of Rick Blaisdell Flooring! Truly, the whole removal and installation was done in about a 4th the time I thought it would take. With this said, everything looked, clean and finished with precision. Not only would I recommend this company to friends but I'd absolutely hire them again. I'm already considering replacing my kitchen floor, considering this project went so well! Lastly, I should mention the value was 100% affordable and worth every penny."

"Yaro and his team were fantastic to work with. Our project included taking ceramic tile out of multiple rooms, repairing cracked concrete on the slab, and laying porcelain tile. The skill level of the workers was great. Yaro would let us know each day what was going to happen the following day. The crew was always on time and completed the tasks with high quality. They even did a great job with the clean up afterwards. Yaro and his team were the best contractors we have ever used. We wouldnĂ¢ t use anyone else."

Depending on the type of project, you may find subtle differences in the hiring process. Here’s a look at task-specific advice.
You can use HomeAdvisor to help evaluate a contractor’s qualifications. We put pros through a screening process, and award badges to high-performing contractors. You can find these badges on a pro’s HomeAdvisor profile, and sometimes, his or her website.
Your research doesn’t stop here. Once you’ve found a few prospective companies, make an call to ask a few questions about work history, licensure and more:
In most cases, the responses you get to these three questions will give you a very good idea of the right pro for your project. If you have more than one front-runner, these additional questions can help you narrow it down.
Any good contractor will answer these questions, and most will appreciate dealing with a client that takes such an active interest in finding good service. On the other hand, if a contractor gives you a hard time with these questions, you probably want to find someone else.
