"Doug was very quick with responding. Gave me a quote over the phone. Was able to make it affordable by having some pieces of carpet from another job and it worked well. Staff was great. Got there on time and in and out within an hour. It was done so well and quick. Would definitely use him again."

"Paul was great to work with and swooped in when we were in desperate need (had to part ways with the person who started the job originally). Paul and his team did a great job and did not call it finished until we were 100% satisfied. He also finished the project exactly on the timeline he projected. We are very happy and would definitely hire him again!!"

"George and his crew did an amazing job on my bathroom. They tore out my old shower and tub, reframed the wall and tiled a new shower enclosure. They also put in a new subfloor and tile, including waterproof membrane. After the floor was in, they installed a new vanity and toilet. Throughout the process George helped steer us through the myriad of options available to us. The result was that we were able to find the perfect balance of functionality, style and budget. Looking back, Iâ m glad we didnâ t try this ourselves or hire someone less knowledgable."

"Freddy was awesome. The detail and quality of his work were outstanding. I can’t say a better thing about him and the team. They were professional and took on a huge project. This house had a lot of imperfections, and it looks like a brand-new house. They transformed a lot of rooms that I really didn’t think were able to be salvaged, and I got to tell you, he and his team really made it look like a brand-new house. His timeline was on point, and he was very communicative. Hands down, hire him. Can’t say a negative thing here at all. He’s amazing."

HomeAdvisor makes it easy to connect with pros near you. You can read reviews, get quotes and book appointments all in one place.
Depending on the type of project, you may find subtle differences in the hiring process. Here’s a look at task-specific advice.
You can use HomeAdvisor to help evaluate a contractor’s qualifications. We put pros through a screening process, and award badges to high-performing contractors. You can find these badges on a pro’s HomeAdvisor profile, and sometimes, his or her website.
Your research doesn’t stop here. Once you’ve found a few prospective companies, make an call to ask a few questions about work history, licensure and more:
In most cases, the responses you get to these three questions will give you a very good idea of the right pro for your project. If you have more than one front-runner, these additional questions can help you narrow it down.
Any good contractor will answer these questions, and most will appreciate dealing with a client that takes such an active interest in finding good service. On the other hand, if a contractor gives you a hard time with these questions, you probably want to find someone else.
