"Very professional builder and has been helpful throughout the whole process. Showed us the value of a good relationship not just the normal you hired us to do only this scenario. Planishek Properties, will certainly build our next home around Lake Norman. Their attention to detail and the trade partners they use are above the normal contractor subs. Planishek Properties is setting the standard for custom homes on Lake Norman."

"Rob does excellent, high quality work. He is dependable and very knowledgeable in all areas of remodeling, repair, and construction. He has done several jobs for me, but the most recent was removing an old shower and replacing it with a new one. The quality of the work was excellent. I would recommend Rob without hesitation."

"Gerome's middle initial should be "P" for Perseverance. He unfortunately had a subcontractor whose quality of workmanship was not up to his (or our) standard and was not completed per time commitment. Gerome removed the subcontractor from the job and found excellent workers to complete the task. It took longer than anticipated but if the old saying is true "the end justifies the means", it was well worth waiting for. He did his best to make sure that we were not inconvenienced more than necessary - it was a kitchen remodel and being without electricity or water can definitely be termed an inconvenience. We could not be happier with the outcome and with Mr. Blackmon's fine service and commitment to the job."

In most cases, the responses you get to these three questions will give you a very good idea of the right pro for your project. If you have more than one front-runner, these additional questions can help you narrow it down.
Any good contractor will answer these questions, and most will appreciate dealing with a client that takes such an active interest in finding good service. On the other hand, if a contractor gives you a hard time with these questions, you probably want to find someone else.
