SSCR Carpentry

I used SSCR carpentry for a couple of jobs now. Trim replacement on my garage doors was just the latest. The also did some restoration work after I had some pipes burst over the winter. Prior to that the repaired a wood floor for me. The work was always done well and at a reasonable price.

I cannot say enough good things about SSCR carpentry, from their professional attitude and the quality of their work to the way that's got explained everything to me so that Even someone that knows nothing about carpentry can understand. SSCR made us a beautiful Trex deck for less than the cost of what a treated deck would have cost. They even moved our furniture off the deck and back on for us and one of the pieces was really heavy.

Excellent workmanship, skill, and attention to detail. Scott and his team installed 6 interior doors at our Pocono Lakes home. He should not be missed if you need home improvements. BTW, he has a great Dodge Ram truck with a Hemi under the hood. Thanks Scott! Eric and Honor Baj

We hired Scott to replace windows in our kitchen with a new sliding glass door, and wall up an existing window opening. From the start, Scott & Brad were incredibly professional. The crew showed up on time, were very knowledgeable, and kept the site clean. The installation of the sliding door required custom framing, and they did a fantastic job—it looks perfect. The area where they walled up the window is seamless. Our home feels much more energy-efficient and bright. I highly recommend them for any renovation needs!" The team was easy to work with and they answered all my questions. They were dependable and completed the project quickly. My new porch railings, posts, and steps look great and are much safer than they were.

I'm a retired home remodeling contractor who had to stop working after my heart surgery four years ago. Since my surgery, I've been looking unsuccessfully for a reliable and skilled contractor to do some needed repairs on my home. I contracted with SSCR Carpentry to install a new picture window, steel entry door, and screen door for my house. Scott and Toby did a fantastic job! They were on time, professional, and do quality work! While that might seem like a gimmie to some people, trust me, here in Northeastern Pennsylvania - that combination is very hard to find. I highly recommend them for any remodeling needs that you might have. One last point of fact, is their level of customer service. My storm door was delivered boxed and sealed, but hinged on the wrong side and without hardware. Not only did they help me box it back up for pick-up, they immediately rescheduled a return visit to install the corrected storm door when it arrives! Five stars and a round of applause !

Diligent, skilled workmanship at a reasonable cost. Excellent communication and work is done in a timely manner with patience, knowledge, and understanding. Scott and crew are courteous and take their time to get it right! Highly recommend!!
