Salvo & Sons Roofing completely delivers on their "Sales Pitch". This company delivers on the promises they make when contracting with you. They are timely, expert technicians and work with an intent on meeting the expectations of the customer. If you have the misfortune of a roof leak in Florida you immediately want help that is expert, timely and understanding of the urgency of their services. Salvo & Sons delivers "big time" and they are nice people to work with. Everything is made transparent and easy to follow. The folks in Naples are lucky to have your services.

Needed some roof repair work done, I contacted Salvo & Sons and they contacted me quickly, arranged for an inspection and a quote. Once we accepted the quote, they scheduled and performed the repairs within a week, and even found an additional issue that we were unaware of, and took care of that as well. Very professional and easy to work with, we would definitely use them again.

Salvo & Sons Roofing did a great job at our office. Dave Salvo examined the roof and showed us pictures. He was able to identify the source of a leak that no other roofer could. Very professional and knowledgeable!

Our newer roof needed minor post-storm repair and a gutter tweak. We received 3 quotes very similar in price & approach however, we selected Salvo and Sons primarily because of their documentation and responsiveness. The first week, a string of showers came thru. Normal for SWFL but disruptive on many levels. S&S (Viviana and Dave) stayed in touch and we were able to overcome weather challenges and wrap the job up swiftly. High quality craftsmanship and a pleasure to work with. Five stars.

Salvo Roofing responded quickly, got me a quote in three days after their inspection and completed the repairs in less than a week after approval. David Salvo worked was extremely professional. The photos after the repairs showed the issues they rectified.

Criminal Background Check

Who does HomeAdvisor background check?

The owner or principal of each business in HomeAdvisor's network (with the exception of Corporate Accounts) must pass a background check. Unfortunately, we cannot perform a background check on every employee of a business—the background checks are performed only on the owner or principal. As always, we recommend that you conduct your own research on the businesses you hire, including making inquiries directly with the businesses regarding their employee background check policies.

What does the background check cover?

We use a third-party vendor to conduct a criminal records search in the county in which the business owner or principal works. Our third-party vendor uses a national criminal database ("NCD") to screen service professionals. Business owners or principals with felony arrests that carry a pending decision or who are convicted of felonies in the past 7 years ago will not be admitted to the network. Businesses or owners convicted misdemeanors or felonies, or who have dismissed charges or arrests on their records involving rape/incest, sex offenses, or lewd and lascivious behavior at any point in time will not be admitted to our network.

Our background check does not exclude service professionals unless the crime at issue is a felony.

*The comprehensiveness of the NCD varies by state. Please be aware that the reporting in the NCD is particularly limited in the following states: AL, CO, DE, GA, ID, IL, KS, LA, ME, MA, MI, MS, MT, NE, NV, NH, NM, SD, UT, VA, VT, and WY. After initial admission to the HomeAdvisor network, businesses are re-screened if a concern is reported to HomeAdvisor.

Corporate Accounts

Some businesses are employees, franchisees, dealers or independent contractors ("Corporate SP's") of larger national or "Corporate Accounts". When this is the case, we may match you with the Corporate Account or with one of their Corporate businesses. The above screening process does not apply to Corporate Accounts, as HomeAdvisor does not screen Corporate Accounts or Corporate businesses.

Criminal Records Search HomeAdvisor uses 3rd party data sources to conduct a criminal search for any relevant criminal activity associated with the owner/principal of the business. Sex Offender Search We confirm that the owner/principal is not listed on the official state Sex Offender web site in the state in which the owner/principal of the company is located. Bankruptcy Search We use 3rd party data sources to check the history of the principal/owner of the business for bankruptcy filings by or against them. Legal Search for Civil Judgments We use 3rd party data sources to check the principal/owner of the business for state level civil legal judgments entered against them. Liens Search We use 3rd party data sources to check the principal/owner of the business for liens placed against them. Identity Verification (SSN) HomeAdvisor verifies the social security number(s) of the owner/principal for identity check purposes. This check applies primarily to smaller business entities. Identity Verification (Reverse Phone Lookup) We conduct a reverse business phone lookup to identify records matching the phone number information provided by the business.
