Ohana Tree Bros, LLC

We hired Ohana to remove two large bushes (one in front, and one in back). They were quick and reasonably priced.

I had several bids from other tree services in the Reno / Carson area, but Ohana Tree Bros. gave me the most reasonable quote. It only got better from there. The crew showed up (Luis, Alex and Donald) on time as scheduled, and did an absolutely amazing job removing a giant old dead cottonwood which was in a precarious position between our house and garage. A wrong move could have caused a disaster but there were no wrong moves with this crew. Luis was especially good. He was hard working, polite and very competent. They also did a trim-up maintenance job on an old Elm we had that was in sorry shape. Clean up afterward was very thorough. I haven't had the pleasure of seeing a business do such great work in a really long time. Two thumbs up!!

CUSTOMER BEWARE: The absolute WORST service we have ever received. After sending a crew of two at a premium hourly rate, the owners never showed up to manage their employees who spent most of the time on their phones, talking or "fixing" equipment. We had to text them directly to get back to work at which time we were assured that they would be discounting the hourly price. The real issue began when we received the bill. We were sent an invoice that included an unusually high credit card service fee of $30. We paid this within 24 hours. We then received a second bill several days later while on vacation that was marked as "overdue" (even though we had not previously received it) with another credit card service fee of $40 and inaccurate charges based on our conversation. Upon reviewing it with the owner Bonnie, she agreed to remove $300 from the bill but never sent an updated invoice to pay. Ohana Tree Bros has always been a pleasure to work with. Their team is responsive, friendly, and incredibly helpful. We had them remove a few trees a while ago and the work was done quickly and priced fairly. Since then they have gone above and beyond with helping us source woodchips and logs for various landscaping projects. Highly recommend.

This crew was extremely good at what they do, the lead crew member was respectful and he had his crew trained well enough that they worked together like clockwork and as a team and I could tell safety was their priority. I stood by from afar and observed as they brought down my 70ft over-grown Pine tree with ease and cut the stump down to the ground. They also trimmed my 15ft bushy-hedge tree down at Kama'aina rate. And to top it off, I asked them if I could have some fire wood and they actually cut-up a good stock pile for me with a good sense of good feeling. The price was the lowest bid among three other tree companies and you cannot go wrong with OHANA Tree Bro's. I would highly recommend this company to friends and family. We were very happy with Ohana Tree Bros. They removed 2 tall trees in our yard. Not only did they do a great job taking our trees out but the clean up was fantastic! I would recommend them to anyone in need of tree services .
