We lived out of town and Sam handled a lot of problems for us that he didn't have too. He also took time to help us pick out different appliances and fixtures. Helped us with ideas for a laundry room when others said it couldn't be done. His sub contractors did a good job for the most part. Needed some minor follow up on some work.

I needed the steps and railings replaced on my front porch late in the season. The job was quoted on a weekend and completed the following week as promised, even though the weather didn't cooperate. The new steps and railings match the existing porch and it looks great.

I needed the steps to my front porch replaced. Sam quoted the job on a Saturday and assured me it would be done by the end of the following week. It was late November and the weather didn't cooperate but by Friday, the job was completed as promised. They did a great job and I am very satisfied with the new front steps.

Did a great job on both my deck and front porch. Craig is a master carpenter and I?m thankful he was on my project. Good communication with Sam the owner. Always got back to me with any concerns I had promptly. I would recommend and would also use it for any future projects. Thank you again

I would rate them zero if it was an option! I was told 2 days and the work would be completed. Ended up taking weeks. After showing pics of what I wanted, I was assured I would get that look. After the tear out of their first attempt, they tried again. It was a fail, I'm left with exactly what I didn't want and a poor job at that. They blew through double the amount of material than they should have. I purchased enough for 2 bathrooms and ended up being short 44 boards for the first bathroom (almost the amount to do one entire bathroom is what they wasted). Every excuse was given as to why I ended up with what I did, from the material to the room not being square and the walls not being plum. They also ruined irreplaceable original baseboard that I did not want removed but they removed and cut it anyway. The exact reason I did not want it taken off for, is exactly what they did! I ended up finding the cut pieces of trim in the garbage. They didn?t even attempt to piece it back, just left a gap in the baseboard. I confronted them about the trim and was told the guy that did that didn?t work for them anymore. Regardless of who ruined it from the company, it should have been fixed and was not. Certainly should not have been tossed in the garbage. I was told my expectations were unrealistic AFTER the second attempt. Turns out my expectations were only off by choosing Borrel construction. I had the same material installed in another room that was more out of whack than the room they did. It?s beautiful. Might I also mention the beautiful room wasn?t done by a professional carpenter. It was done by someone who just dabbled with wood and knew how to cut! Clearly something Borrel does not know how to do. The other room was finished with minimal waste. Completely disgusted with the job Borrel did. Now left to find someone to fix the mess of a room they created. Sam referred to himself as ? luxury a contractor?. There is nothing luxurious about that bathroom. It?s awful! Uneven cuts, busted boards that look like they were punched or kicked after being hung, some parts of the walls have seams some are tight without seams, no door and ruined trim! Sounds luxurious doesn?t it? They didn?t even put the door back up bc they lost the hardware??? they were kind enough to leave the door in the hallway for me to deal with though! Steer away if your project involves wood. Severely over priced and deplorable work. Everyone that has walked into that room has had the same reaction! it was not a good one! I?ve even received phone calls from other workers asking who did that? It?s bad! One even called to ask what sheenie did that work and he did not mean it in a good way. One and done on home advisor that?s for sure! Ianyone that recommends this company clearly has not had wood installed! I would have been better off doing it myself.

They showed up every day and worked the entire day. Very courteous and friendly. They were accommodating and wanted to please. I am very very pleased with their service and would use them again. They remodeled two bathrooms and did a wonderful job!
