John Irato with Better Blinds Plus knows his product, and isn't just out to make a sale. Pointed out that while the "best quality" blinds would be perfect for the main floor, we could actually go with a budget look alike downstairs in the "man cave/ office" and guest room. He covers an amazing amount of territory, so his timeliness wasn't the greatest, but who hasn't gotten stuck in unpredictable traffic? Life happens, and he was on top of letting us know his new arrival time the moment he could! If we had more windows, I'd hire him again.

first hired John ti install Plantation Blinds in my living room & dining room. Just beautiful! High end furniture for your windows. Had him install blinds on the remaining windows in my house. Wonderful! Made every room brighter and refreshed. John is just great at what he does...and he has the best products..

Horrible experience. John is a complete scammer. We had an appointment for him to come and complete our installation. We paid a deposit up front. When it came time for the appointment. He ghosted us. Never called. Never even reached out to say that he was not going to make it. We left our jobs to come home early and made arrangements to be home and NO SHOW from him. DO NOT give this person your time or money.

This customer was not scammed, I spoke to the customer within 35 minutes of our appointment. I did unfortunately miss our appointment, my family had a tragic 911 emergency that included my minor son. It was a very difficult situation for me and my family. For the record I made an appointment a week earlier with this customer and they canceled on me, we would have avoided this problem if they kept the original appointment. I apologized over a dozen times for the inconvenience, The woman I spoke to would not accept my apology and explanation. I offered to complete the job as soon as possible. The customer responded by bullying me for a full refund and that she would ruin my business. I explained that I had her shade(s) and was ready to keep my agreement, I already paid for them. I then I apologized that her invoice clearly states, "No refund". Later her husband called to say, "If you are smart businessman you would refund the deposit because my wife works for and is high up at Chase Bank and she will hurt your business". My emergency was real, the Mequon, WI Police responded to our 911 call that very morning, this could not have been avoided. This customer stated several times that they would ruin me! All I want to do is complete the job and make them happy, I have many great reviews and I get many referrals, I would have even made concessions. But they had no interest in communicating with me, they instead made many threats on my business success. I found Better Blinds Plus on Angie's list. I read his reviews and contacted him. John came out to measure my living room windows. He brought several samples and explained the different blinds available / cost within my unannounced budget. Once he showed me the cost, I had him give me another estimate for my kitchen. I then ordered blinds for my kitchen. The quality of faux wood was perfect for my windows and gave a modern look to my ancient blinds. John and Josh did a fantastic job installing the blinds. They worked around my furniture/ plants, and did not mind my dog hanging around either. I am so happy with my new blinds. I highly recommend them.

John came out to measure my windows in our sun room and living room. Only charged me half, and I paid the other half when the blinds were installed. He was such a nice man, and did a fantastic job!! The blinds make my house feel brand new, and provide so much great light- my plants have never been happier!! Will absolutely reach out again in the future.

John the owner came here and measured my blinds. Prompt on-time ,friendly,and knowledgeable. Gave me many product choices and explained them all . Had samples of them all too ! They were installed today â ¦fit perfectly ! He did a great job ! Was really easy to work with. My blinds are beautiful ! I highly recommend using him.
