    Weaver did very well with our basement finishing. They did get the way we wanted things done, which was a bit unique, but they did miss a few things, like not understand we were going to take care of some things that were non-standard ourselves (because they were non-standard.). They also did leave us hanging a little at the end - we still never got our light switch at the end of the stairs hooked back up to the light, nor found out how to change the cam lights, but at some point I just gave up, cause they were kinda done with us after they got their last payment. Generally good to work with, they did have a bit of a time getting workers due to COVID, and there were some small less than desirable messes left. But thatâ  s small compared to the overall work, which was good. So Iâ  m pretty happy overall.

    Scott (Weaver Construction) is a terrible communicator who does not respond to issues involving your project. My patio roof/chime project started a year ago and it still is not done. I had six piers and pillars installed as agreed upon and outlined on the blueprint and city permit. Two pillars are a 1/4 inch too short and do not touch or support the roof joist. The ceiling started leaking about two weeks ago because the shingles on the peak were installed backward and the water flashing was cut too short around the chimney. Scott has a young kid come out who tried to silicone the problem by *OVER* silicone the J channel around the chimney, which did not fix the problem. Again, Scott was contacted and advised the ceiling/roof still leaks. I was told by Scott he would contact the *Roofing Company* to address the problem. Three hours later, two Hispanic males arrive and try to re-caulk the areas previously caulked. When asking what roofing company they worked for, they did not know. When questioned again about the roofing company, I am told they work for Scott and not a roofing company. At this time, Scott was called and texted several times and I still to this date have not had a call or text message back. The two Hispanic males left but returned 30 minutes later with a bundle of roof shingles that they were going to use to fix the roof. The shingles did not match even closely. Again, I attempted to contact Scott by text and phone but with no response still. It rained again today (August 3rd). I still have water dripping from my ceiling and now I have drywall damage because Scott Weaver will not respond to my text or calls and fix the issues. I literally text Scott about 200 times and still have not received a response. This has been an ongoing problem with Scott since this project started. Do not *Leave it to Weaver*, just leave and save yourself a lot of aggravation. Check out other reviews and the Better Business and see for yourself what type of business person he is.

    Mr. Bayes is providing incorrect information. So I will clarify with documentation to support if required. The customer signed 8/31/19 and the permit was received 12/9/19. The project was started the week of 1/13/20. The customer requested additional work on accepting the proposal on 2/5/20 after requesting a discount. We worked at his home every week until the COVID 19 pandemic and at that time the safety of our employees was our priority. We returned to finish the job and the customer requested additional work. The work was completed and a final inspection was performed through the City of Wentzville 7/24/20 and it passed. The customer contacted Scot via text he had a roof leak and we sent an employee out on 7/28/20 to review the issue. We then sent an employee out on Saturday 8/1/20 and the shingles did not match due to the vendor we purchased the original shingles from do not offer Saturday hours so we purchased the shingles on Monday 8/3/20 from the original vendor and will address the issue. The customer did not call Scot 200 times and unfortunately, we do not work on Saturday and Sunday. I personally have communicated to Mr. Bayes via email on this and his comments are just not true. We have addressed the issue and have communicated with him via email and have full intent to repair the issue and then would like to get paid our balance due on the job in the amount of $998.00. Mr. Bayes is someone who cannot be satisfied and clearly does not care there is a pandemic or if it is raining we do not send our employees on roofs for safety measures. Clearly there are two sides to this project and I have full documentation to support my response.

    Scot and Tina were excellent to work with on my Screened in Porch. Very friendly and very responsive. Their main contractors, Brian and Stanley, were the best on the job site. Each evening, they cleaned on the site and stacked things neatly away so we never had debris everywhere. I would highly recommend Leave it to Weaver for your home.
