Reviews
Write a ReviewWater’s concrete did an awesome job of replacing our driveway! Blaine and his entire crew were extremely thorough with a keen eye on detail. The timing of this project was exceptional as the weather conditions were so unpredictable… they waited just long enough for everything to dry up and temperatures to rise to an acceptable level prior to even beginning the job. We couldn’t recommend a company more than Water’ concrete for your concrete projects. Thank you so very much for all your hard work and very competitive pricing! K&D
They did a great job. Many thanks to the crew.
Very good work
I wish they had poured a little further umder the stairs, but overall, very happy with the outcome of our walkway.
Waters Concrete poured an additional driveway on the side of our home. They did an excellent job - very clean and uniform. We were very happy with the work and although it was somewhat expensive, there was a lot of work to do on the site prep side. Very satisfied
Overall, I'm lukewarm on the service. Waters poured the foundation and driveway for my home when I built it a few years ago. I wanted to extend a patio and so when I saw them in the list on HomeAdvisor I gave them a call. They were in the middle of the pack in terms of pricing, so I felt good about the call. I asked for two quotes - one for pouring the slab and another for staining it since I had considered staining it myself but really didn't want to if the price was right. I decided to split the job into two - stain later and first just do the pour. I spoke with West and explained the type of surface texture and joints I wanted. I received the quote with the words "pour and finish all labor and materials." You might expect that finishing would include cutting the joints and removing the form boards. When I texted them to ask when they were coming back to cut the joints I was told it would cost more - a lot more. I texted West and asked how we got into the miscommunication but he never responded. They never came back to remove the form boards. The work they did do, they did well. The folks that came out were friendly and easy to work with. Unfortunately, I cannot provide any company who ignores me and leaves me to do the cleanup with 5 stars. 3 1/2 is the best I can do. The least I would expect is for West to offer an explanation like "I'm sorry, we didn't properly explain that finishing didn't include cutting expansion joints." How hard is that? Waters won't be doing the stain. They started off strong but finished weak. Thus, a weak score in the review.
Waters Concrete Construction did not pour the foundation and/or driveway at your home. We were first contacted by you through HomeAdvisor to pour your patio extension. After we gave you a quote, we were not your first choice and you gave someone else the job. The chosen provider started the job and only completed half of the patio that was very poorly installed. You then contacted us (as we had been in contact previously because of us quoting the patio job) to try to come fix the patio that was incorrectly installed by the other company, that was then already over budget for what that had quoted to complete the entire job. After we came to look at the job that needed to be fixed and finished, we provided two quotes. One was to finish the 2nd half that wasn't completed by the other company, the 2nd was to fix work that was not ours by cutting joints into "tile like form" and staining both our patio section and the other to mask the poor quality of the former company's work. This was explained to by both the owner West, and our salesman Willie. You chose to only have us complete patio by pouring the 2nd half. Therefore, cutting the joints, staining the previously poured patio and removing the form boards was not in the scope of work you asked us to complete. After every job we complete, we come back and remove all forms if we set them. If the forms are not our property, or if it is not agreed to that we are to remove the customers set forms, then they are left for the customer to remove. I do agree that there was one time that I didn't immediately call you back. You did text me. I was at the Dr. office with my daughter, so I had Willie get in touch with you for me. I apologize for not calling after we left the doctor. When we did speak, I did explain to you what we quoted, what was included, so I am sorry that there was a mis-communication there. Waters Concrete Construction stands behind all work they complete and always keep in contact with our customers. Unfortunately in this circumstance, you didn't start off with our company. We were asked to come in and fix someone else's errors which we provided a quote to do, but it was only selected that we pour the unfinished part of the patio in the forms that were not set by us.
Very pleased and they got right on the job.
Exceptional service.
We would definitely hire West and his crew again should the need arise. Quality work was done to our specifications, as scheduled, and crew was professional and friendly.
Very Good response time. Office staff excellent.
