Water Works exists to serve central Oregon with competent and professional design, installation, and service of domestic, agricultural, and commercial water systems. Whether you are a home owner, realtor, business, hobbyist grower, multiple crop farming operation, water district, or municipality you will find that we are your dependable source to keep water flowing. How We Got Started

I chose to work in this industry because Water Works is Veteran-owned and operated. The owner served in the United States Navy as an engineman working with a wide variety of fluid movement equipment. Following his service, Joe worked in the agricultural water industry learning to repair many different types of pumps and electric motors. He continued work as a journeyman completing installations and repairs in ag, domestic, industrial, commercial, and municipal water systems settings for many years. In Joe’s 25+ years in the industry, he has worked with some of the best including journeyman, owners, and vendors from whom he gained invaluable knowledge which he applies to our business every day. Repair or Service a Well Pump

Water Works did an outstanding job for us . Joe and his wife Megan work as a perfect team. Our well pump failed on a Saturday. They changed their own weekend plans to pull the pump on Sunday and then adjusted their schedule to get our repair completed on Tuesday. To make this happen, Megan had to make a 100 mile round trip for parts from a supplier. Joe is really is a an expert with wells and all the electrical and plumbing that go with it. Upon completion everything was perfectly back in place. GREAT JOB!!

Criminal Background Check

Who does HomeAdvisor background check?

The owner or principal of each business in HomeAdvisor's network (with the exception of Corporate Accounts) must pass a background check. Unfortunately, we cannot perform a background check on every employee of a business—the background checks are performed only on the owner or principal. As always, we recommend that you conduct your own research on the businesses you hire, including making inquiries directly with the businesses regarding their employee background check policies.

What does the background check cover?

We use a third-party vendor to conduct a criminal records search in the county in which the business owner or principal works. Our third-party vendor uses a national criminal database ("NCD") to screen service professionals. Business owners or principals with felony arrests that carry a pending decision or who are convicted of felonies in the past 7 years ago will not be admitted to the network. Businesses or owners convicted misdemeanors or felonies, or who have dismissed charges or arrests on their records involving rape/incest, sex offenses, or lewd and lascivious behavior at any point in time will not be admitted to our network.

Our background check does not exclude service professionals unless the crime at issue is a felony.

*The comprehensiveness of the NCD varies by state. Please be aware that the reporting in the NCD is particularly limited in the following states: AL, CO, DE, GA, ID, IL, KS, LA, ME, MA, MI, MS, MT, NE, NV, NH, NM, SD, UT, VA, VT, and WY. After initial admission to the HomeAdvisor network, businesses are re-screened if a concern is reported to HomeAdvisor.

Corporate Accounts

Some businesses are employees, franchisees, dealers or independent contractors ("Corporate SP's") of larger national or "Corporate Accounts". When this is the case, we may match you with the Corporate Account or with one of their Corporate businesses. The above screening process does not apply to Corporate Accounts, as HomeAdvisor does not screen Corporate Accounts or Corporate businesses.

Sex Offender Search We confirm that the owner/principal is not listed on the official state Sex Offender web site in the state in which the owner/principal of the company is located. Bankruptcy Search We use 3rd party data sources to check the history of the principal/owner of the business for bankruptcy filings by or against them. Legal Search for Civil Judgments We use 3rd party data sources to check the principal/owner of the business for state level civil legal judgments entered against them. Liens Search We use 3rd party data sources to check the principal/owner of the business for liens placed against them. Identity Verification (SSN) HomeAdvisor verifies the social security number(s) of the owner/principal for identity check purposes. This check applies primarily to smaller business entities. Identity Verification (Reverse Phone Lookup) We conduct a reverse business phone lookup to identify records matching the phone number information provided by the business.
