The Friendly Plumber

I have used the services of Rich, "The Friendly Plumber" for the past 15-20 years after he was recommended by a friend. He has unclogged a really stubborn drain, installed toilets, replaced a water heater, identified the source of a hidden leak, replaced bathroom faucets, etc. Rich is professional, reliable, and yes, he really is friendly. I highly recommend his service, you won't be disappointed.

I called Rich to discuss the project of replacing an outdoor spigot and he was able to come out the next day. He let me know the day of he was on his way. When he arrived he was able to quickly understand the situation and replace the outside spigot with no trouble. I wilk definitely use Rich for future plumbing needs.

Reached out to Rich over the weekend and discussed the repairs needed for an old Gerber 3 handle faucet tub. Set the repair for Tuesday morning. Ripped out the three 30yr old valve stems, redid the plumbing in the access panel and added two shutoff valves. Sealed everything, tested for leaks and cleaned everything up, completed the job in just under 3hrs. Great working with Rich and his team, communication was super smooth and pricing was established up front, no hidden charges. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Rich does excellent work and very generous with his time and expertise to troubleshoot any issues. It is true, Rich is very friendly and it is really obvious he cares about what he does. I plan on calling Rich the next time I need more work done.

My hot water heater started leaking the Friday night of Labor Day weekend. The shut off valve was stuck and I couldn't turn it off. When I called Rich on Saturday morning, he came over as soon as he could and turned it off. He drained the hot water heater and removed it. He pumped the water out from the basement floor and helped to clean up the mess. He returned on Tuesday morning to install the new heater. He was punctual, polite, helpful - in other words - very professional. His price was very reasonable. I am very glad to have found him on Home Advisor.
