Write a ReviewThey did an outstanding job, so much so, I gave them a $200 tip!
Matt is very open and ethical. He is willing ro adjust a cost factor when discussed opening with the client. Having certain equipment on hand that must be a separate item to be paid for, i.e., a Lift ($700.00) and having additional time available for its use with unaccountable trees, was gracious. When he says he will be there at a certain time, he is. His expertise is impeccable. He works focused and does not wast time. He thinks through a problem before acting. He has a definite manner in cutting down trees that is both safe and productive. He works well with a "helper" via open ommunication. Safety is ;primary. His use of the Lift was amazing.
I was really impressed with the quality of service! Starling treescapes was able to trim a giant pine tree that had branches hanging over a building and power lines without damaging any of the property which was great. They showed up on time and worked efficiently and cleaned up everything before they left. I will use them again for any tree felling services! Thanks ð
Matt Barrett was recommended to remove two trees in my yard with Browntail Moth Infestations, before the moths emerged from their webs and began eating and growing. It was April and there were no leaves so we could see hundreds of larvae in each web, Matt climbed the first tree with harness and ropes to try to remove the nests but the branch he was standing on broke and he fell to the second one which also broke. He climed down and together we made the decision to cut both trees down and remove the nests when on the ground. The trees droped exactly where he planned. The third tree was uprooted with the top 1/2 lying in the water. Using the same technology with different colored cords Matt pulled that tree out. All three trees were checked for Moth activity and chipped to flatten another area near by. He charged below the online State of ME rate.
Matt did a great job. We had several very large trees that needed to be removed from the woods around our home. Some were dead and some had begun to block our solar panels. Matt is a knowledgeable and experienced arborist and very safely and carefully laid the trees down exactly where he planned them to. Debris was gathered up and taken away. I couldn't be more pleased and, as a bonus, our solar panels are putting out a lot more electricity. I would happily recommend Starling Treescapes to anyone.
As well as being a consummate professional with a strong work ethic, Matt is a pleasure to work with. I can not recommend him and his company highly enough!
We had several tall trees that were blocking our solar panels. Matt and crew brought them all down carefully and safely and they landed right where he planned. Our solar panels are really cranking now! He also took down a big old tree near our driveway that turned out to be totally rotten. If he hadn't recommended cutting it, we might have ended up without power or a usable driveway. We should really keep him on speed dial!
