    Took my money waiting six months for windows. No one can be reached or returned calls. Been taking installments payments as per contract. Emailed two appointment dates to install never show up. Poor excuses texts only. Salesman never mailed itemized estimate as promised. Never answers requests for call back. Apears after all these years doing replacements for me they lost customer service. Sold lifetime warranty which isnâ  t honored now also.

    Installer placed building materials up against our garage door without asking permission or informing us. Upon leaving for work, the board fell on to our car and damaged back quarter panel. Stanek asked us to provide an estimate for the repairs which we did. They have since ignored repeated emails and phone calls asking for status or reimbursement. Sounds like we will need to take this to court.

    This company is top heavy and doesnâ t care about their customers. The only employees that care are the installers and the customer service rep at the local office. The Wisconsin rep, head office people, even corporate couldnâ t care less about the customer. Did a kitchen remodel in 2023. Ordered three custom windows (normal size) in June 2023, were installed in November 2023. Was told windows would take 10-14 weeks, it took over 20 weeks. No communication, no update, went 3 months with wood sheets over the window opening. When windows arrived the outside of the window was scratched up (corporate didnâ t care). One of the screens didnâ t fit the window when they installed, wait another 6 weeks for a replacement screen. Whoever approved the â full screen flexâ style should reassess everything. If your screen ever rips, you need to buy a custom screen from Stanek for $400, will probably take 10 weeks. These arenâ t the old style screen that you can fix/replace by going to your local hardware store. I would avoid everyone at this company and would never recommend any of their services. Once everything was installed I asked if they were going to provide an explanation or discount for the terrible job and service, nothing. Avoid this company at all costs, so many other great companies that care about the customer. This company doesnâ t care. The only positive was the local customer rep (Pam) that tried to help but her bosses had no interest in assisting. Terrible customer service!

    they say 55 years in business, I called with a warranty issue and was told the company was sold and the new owners will not honor past Stanek customers, well it wasn't 55 years ago, it was 4, so BE WARE NO WARRANTY NO MATTER WHAT THEY TELL YOU!

    Josh goes the extra mile. Fixed my issues that I called for and a couple of minor things he saw wrong around the house that was not in the maintenance call.

    Sales person was very informative and followed up after installation. answered all my questions. Support staff stayed in contact reporting as windows were ordered ....when they were delivered and setting up an appointment ....installed on a Sunday because they were so busy .

    During our recent episode of -26-degree weather, one of the panes of glass in our 16 yr. old, large Stanek 2 lite slider, experienced and thermal shock and cracked into many pieces. We taped the larger pieces in place, and called Great Day Improvements LLC, the current representative for Stanek windows. They were very pleasant, and immediately set-up an appointment for Josh Haas, their Service Manager, to come out and inspect it. When Josh came out, we were very happy to see what a nice and knowledgeable person he was. He explained what caused the thermal shock and said that it, plus two of the other panes with seal failure, would be covered by our Stanek warranty. When we asked if the new windows would have a different hue, he said yes, because of the different film in the window. We asked how much it would cost to replace the window that was OK, and he said that he would find out and call us when he got back to the office, and he did. We decided that it was a fair price, and told him to order it as well as the ones that were under warranty. They kept us informed about when they were manufactured, when they would get here, and set up the install appointment. When Josh came to install them, we found out that not only is he a very nice person, but he is a very careful and skilled craftsman. He did not lose a single piece of glass from the broken window when he took it out. He made no mess and even cleaned the new windows before putting them in. Josh is just outstanding, and we can not say enough good things about him!!

    Good quality windows and good installation but was disappointed with their operations team. The first time that they came out to measure for the windows they took almost 2 hours drilling holes through the window frames. This would?ve been fine if I was going to have a complete tear down but all I needed was a pocket installation. They also didn?t clean up their wood shavings. They sent out a second person 2 weeks later to measure properly. The installers did a good job but the wood trim for the window stops was not painted so I now have to do some unexpected painting

    We couldn't be happier!! We had 10 windows that we wanted replaced, and they made a huge difference in our house. Much more visibility, much easier to clean, and it's awesome!!! It's even improved soundproofing of our home. I was a little concerned at first when they sent one guy at first, but he was such a skilled installer, that he was able to handle it and finish within the time frame. Super nice guy, and a great worker.
