Speaks Custom Window & Sunrooms

DO NOT TRUST: Speaks Custom Window & Sunrooms (Royal Palm Construction LLC). We signed a contract on 4/16/26 and approved all engineering-related changes and costs on 5/18/26. On 5/26/26, a Speaks technician cut into our wall and window area for an inspection, leaving drywall damage, exposed cavities, a stripped window jamb, and a split windowsill. We were told the door would be ordered that day. Despite promising in writing to patch the openings, Speaks canceled the project on 6/2/26 and left the damage unrepaired. When asked why the project was canceled after engineering approval and inspection work, owner Patrick Priester refused to provide an explanation. An independent repair estimate totaled $2,764.19, far exceeding Speaks' $1,500 restoration offer. Documentation has been submitted to the NC Licensing Board for General Contractors and the NC Attorney General.

Very pleased with Speaks. They replaced an exterior doors and all our windows. Excellent work. The team removed all old windows and door and cleaned up after the job was complete. We had 15 windows replaced and they did it in one day! The caulking job was perfect. Highly recommend.

I would highly recommend Speaks. We had a big name company from a tv commercial give us an estimate along with a high pressure sales pitch. Thank goodness we didn’t go with them. Speaks came out and replaced our windows with the same quality product as the big name company for half the price. They showed up when they were supposed to and did what they were supposed to do. Couldn’t ask for better product or better service!
