South Side Construction

South Side did a fabulous job updating my front porch. They were on time, did quality work and the project manager Alex and office manager Felipe were excellent. Many of my neighbors want South Side Construction info and I’m very happy to share.

DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE! In late 2023, I paid them $2000 to replace the roof, fascia, soffit, and gutter on the enclosed porch to my house. At the time, I had no leakage whatsoever. I just wanted to improve the look of my house. I was pleased and even provided a very nice Google review for their business. Fast forward to the blizzard of February 2026- on Friday 2/13, the heavy snow and ice on my roof began to melt & my ceiling started to leak. I immediately called them & spoke with Lee, who requested a video of the damage. On Monday 2/16, two of their employees came out and repaired the exterior. Once they left, I called Lee and asked when the interior would be repaired. I was told to wait for a few days to ensure the leak was completely fixed. After several more days of inclement weather, there was no more leaking. However, my ceiling is steadily falling apart and smelling moldy. They never quoted a repair fee & I haven't heard from them since 3/2. See attached for further details

Alex and his crew did a beautiful job on our existing deck floor. They were professional and courteous. I would have given them a Five Star Rating, but my contract also included installing one window shutter which had to be special ordered. Our deck floor was completed and the final payment was paid before the window shutter arrived. I called Southside Construction several times for someone to come back to hang my window shutter and complete the contract, but to no avail.

I can't say enough about working with South Side Lee & Alex. The estimate was fast and very reasonable. The main thing for me was trust, having so many contractors take advantage of me in the past I was cautious. I explained to Alex what I was looking for and he delivered my perfect deck. I gave my deposit and my new deck was complete in 2 days and wow what a job they did. On time, worked until completion, excellent work, they cleaned up and even washed the finished deck before leaving. I am so impressed with South Side Home Improvement I will definitely call them again for my next project without hesitation. I can't say enough about how impressed I am with the work done and the crew. Awesome Job

I am extremely pleased with the roof, fascia and gutter work that South Side Home Improvement LLC has provided to my residence. On the same day that I made contact, Alex came to my home to assess the repairs. Shortly thereafter, I received the estimate, which was very fair and reasonable. By the next week, Alex and his crew were ready to do the job. They arrived early, completed the work that day and cleaned up afterwards. They did an absolutely phenomenal job! The entire transaction was seamless, which can be rare to find these days. I definitely recommend South Side Home Improvement and if needed, I will be utilizing their services in the future.

They were the first to respond to initial need for immediate roof repair. Came out next day on a Saturday to do repair before Sunday when we were expected 12hrs of rain. So I hired him for full roof removal and repair which they were able to do in 2 weeks after giving us a quote. There was more that was needed and was all done very professionally.

This company was very professional and gave an exact quote and helped resolve my roofing issues permanently. The price was also reasonable while completing the job in a timely manner.
