I made a lapse in judgement by paying a 50% deposit without receiving a proposal or work order of any kind. Jose, or "Tony", has repeatedly refused to address and resolve this situation. The deposit was small enough that I would rather lose it altogether than "throw good money after bad". I wish to post my horrible experience with JAMYTA Home Improvement as a warning to potential future clients.

You has all documents copy into your cell, and after sign a work order you cancel by did a next day check stop payment for the deposit, nothing to be fix o resolve, it is not deal

This is an update to our Review of Jamyta Home Improvements from last year (2022). Our interactions with Tony/Jose has been a Jeckyll/Hyde experience where we first gave him 5 stars for the first job and he totally screwed up the second job. When we complained online, he â Attackedâ us and made us seem like Bad people (called us Liars, Racists, Low Educated, etc). We went to FairClaims.com (online legal Arbitration) rather than to court (recommended and paid by Home Advisor). We Prevailed. We got ALL our money back (all within 2 weeks, Feb 2023). It was Unfortunate because we thought Very Highly of Jose after the first job (5 stars). If you have a good case and some documentation, FairClaims was Fair, objective, and neutralâ ¦ seeking facts. We want everyone to know Jamyta Home Improvements has a dark side and you should take care to have documentation of his work. We didnâ t have a contract for the second job (verbal agreement), so he claimed he didnâ t do the jobâ ¦ but we had enuf evidence to prove he did the work (verbal contract â ¦ this is legal in most states) and WON the Case. We shall see if he attacks us again.
