We recently relocated to Highland, NY after downsizing from a larger home. We really needed help with our closets. We tried contacting several companies, but none of the companies even returned our call. We went on HomeAdvisor and within a short time Shelf called us back and set up an appointment to look at our closets. The price was fair, the installation was quick and the installation crew was terrific. Shelf was one of the best suppliers we ever used. They made what we thought was a difficult job into an easy one.
Professional, knowledgeable, and timely. They came out to my house, measured, gave me options and we made a deal. Within a few weeks my shower door was installed and looked great. Don't hesitate to use these people.

If I could give no stars, I would. Stay away from this company! They installed a glass shower door and the installer was extremely sloppy with the sealer. There are even large bubbles in the sealer which look awful. We emailed the company twice with photos. My husband had to finally call them after they charged our debit card for the balance (even after receiving the emails), and Timothy Dorsey, who identified himself as the owner, was extremely arrogant on the phone stating his worker was nervous because my husband was in the room while he was installing. Ridiculous and very unprofessional! Do not make the same mistake we did, go with another more reputable company. Update: Home Advisor spent weeks trying to resolve the issue and actually got the contractor to make an appointment with us to come back and repair the shower door, which was great! After my husband took time off from work to be home, the contractor emailed us stating he was cancelling the appointment and will not be returning to correct the problems.
We want all our customers to have a healthy positive and long lasting experience. We try our best to outline the scope of work clearly and effectively, execute a quick turn around with quality and precision. If a mistake is made we fix it. If a customer has a question we answer it to the best of our ability. We cannot however, put our employees in a no win scenario with unreasonable requests. We made every effort to fix this situation and even brought in a 3rd party in HomeAdvisor to help out. We are very grateful to HA for facilitating and trying to help. We don't believe in the old saying you can't make everyone happy and will use this experience in a positive way to reinforce how we do business in the future.
