My husband and I interviewed several contractors in Crystal River last June for an investment property that needed some renovation. My husband is a licensed Builder in South Carolina and Scott SEEMED professional and competent. We communicated by text and email to determine the investment we would make in this property. We decided what we wanted to commit. Scott said he could start very quickly upon our arrival, have all of the work in 2 weeks BEFORE December 1st. We arrived November 10th, but He kept putting us off. The 1st project he started was to put in an Attic Stairway. He was also going to create a large owners closet in the master bedroom Alcove, update the master and guest bathrooms, remove a wall in the kitchen and create a custom wood wrap around bar plus other smaller items. What he did do was show up with one guy, cut a huge hole in my hall ceiling for the attic stairs - without going into the attic. I went outside to escape the Dust and when Scott walked out, I immediately knew something was wrong. He had cut the stairway where trunk line for the AC is located. He had his guy nail the sheetrock up in 5 pieces then caulk it. He said they would be back in 2 days. That was 4 weeks ago Monday. He would call with excuses of - I have got workers out sick - my car is in the shop - I cannot get there without my truck blah blah blah.. After 2 weeks we realized he was not coming back. It has cost us delays and money. Lost rent PLUS the $275 we are having to pay someone else to fix his mess. We may even have missed the high season, which is January, February and March. I have pictures, if I a figure out how to post them. Since my husband is a builder I understand that things can happen but you make good on them. He text and said that he could work on this our condo after the first of the year, after we went home. After what we have been through, would you trust him?

Scott and his wife were great to work with and very patient with me and the various changes. His employees work well together. They redid my kitchen and were in and out in 2 weeks! I'd recommend him for your next project.

I had several bids that were all within an acceptable range. They all said it could take three weeks or more. I decided on Sheffield structures not because they were the lowest in price but they could start a little quicker. They suggested the 8th of July but actually began on the 15th. The work went extremely smoothly.. they were on time every day and completed the work in 7 days. I found them very professional and would not hesitate to use them again. Could I have done the work myself yes! Could my wife wait months for me to complete the job NO!!!. So many thanks
