Reviews
Write a ReviewWe had 26 windows replaced, with three different experiences. First is the actual windows. They are awesome and well worth it in terms of noise reduction, temperature maintenance and appearance. The second was the installation. Overall excellent. Patrick and Julians craftsmanship was excellent. A little loose showing up when they said they would, but they finished on-time. Finally, was management and the process. The sales person glossed over a lot of the details on how they retrofit windows. He emphasized the quality of the product and their accuracy measuring and double checking. He did mention some reduction in the glass area because of the process. When I received the official quote it was several thousand over what he had shown me on site, he said it was not, I said to just send me a picture of the initial quote and it suddenly dropped back down. I had a lot of detailed questions along the way and I got the distinct sense that if you took them at their word they are great but when you question the details, their attitude definitely changes. Despite saying one of the owners would call me about my invoice questions, they used my detailed credit card information, including the security code, that they had kept, to charge my card and then he responded to my email. Begrudgingly I finally got all my questions answered but it was a painful process. Their tight tolerances boiled down the the industry standard of 1/4 inch all the way around, but no real explanation for those instances where there were gaps of up to 1.5 inches (it is complicated. but we know what we are doing..). The long narrow windows lost about 50% of their viewable area. And all the rounding down (the sizes measured by the sales person were over 10% larger than the actual windows delivered) were normal and did not affect the cost.
Great!!!
The presentation of the window was impressive. The (3) windows are double paned with argon gas applied at the factory, rather than be inserted.. The seal has four barriers to keep moiture out. During the presentation, the salesman shined a heat lamp thjrough a normal window, then other double paned windows and finallly through the Anlin pane. S meter on the opposite side of the window measured the haet (or cold) passing through the window. I don't recall the exact figure, but the amount of energy passing through the Anlin window was significantly lower than the others. Keeping hot and cold outside air out. Significant energy savings. I was not excited to hear a sales speal. But I was a convert at the end. I am excited to have our Anlin windows installed by Selig Construction.
I am only at the measuring stage â ¦ but so far the customer service has been excellentâ ¦ canâ t wait for installation! My present windows are duct taped on â ¦ and so cloudy you canâ t see thru them â ¦ over 100 years old ! So excited!
Awesome! I just cannot say enough about them. They go above and beyond. We are loving the windows!
excellent quick turaround & great w service calls
Very satisfied!
When they returned to finish job, we had a new floor put in, they didn't put drop cloths down. Floor, toilet, vanity, and lights were covered in texture. One big mess..
