Reviews
Write a ReviewExcellent work. Excellent customer service. Workmen were courteous and always cleaned up afterward.
Very helpful salesperson. Good clean up.
Extremely professional, clean and non-intrusive. We completely gutted a bathroom and they were outstanding, responding immediately to any concern I had. The design team was fantastic and worked with me to stay on budget (though I overruled them and went over - totally my fault!). They overcame obstacles, like having to re-route an air duct, and ensured that any residual damage was repaired (the bathtub/shower install left marks in the hallway and they just repainted that wall). I would use them again.
They gave a schedule and was there every day. A owner or project Mgr was there to see progress. I would recommend this company for future jobs
We recently renovated the original kitchen/dining area in our 50 year old colonial. We obtained several estimates for the project and chose Selective Sculptures to complete the work. The project included taking down a bearing wall and replacing it with header, gutting the entire area and putting in new insulation and sheetrock, moving and replacing a window, putting in a new tile floor, new cabinets, quartz countertop, subway tile backsplash, new interior doors, moving plumbing and rewiring electric and installing high hats and pendant lights, painting walls, ceiling, doors and new molding throughout. The actual cost of the job came very close to our estimate, only going over a reasonable amount because of issues with electrical and plumbing when the walls were opened due to the age of the house. Everyone was very professional throughout the entire project and treated our home as if it was their own. From the day we initially met with the kitchen designer Dominick, and the project manager Mike, we felt very comfortable with the team. All the workers were very skilled and took pride in their work. Everyone was considerate, responded immediately to any question or concern that we had. Each day they had a plan for the work to be performed and didn't leave until it was completed. Each morning we were asked if we had any questions and if we were satisfied. At the end of the work day, everything was cleaned up neatly. The entire project was estimated to take 4-6 weeks. The majority of the work was performed within the 4 weeks, only pushing to 5 because an item was on backorder. The quality of the materials, all of which we were able to see and purchase through their showroom, were excellent, as was the workmanship. We would highly recommend Selective sculptures to complete any kitchen/bath renovation. Although going with a company that we hadn't heard of before, we were a little hesitant, but we are so glad we went with Selective Sculptures. I have already recommended them to friends , and will definitely be using them again in the future for bathroom remodeling.
I wanted to remodel my kitchen EVENTUALLY but spending time with Dominick and Mike clenched it for me. I found SELECTIVE SCULPTURES on this site and they contacted me within 10 minutes and we made an appointment. I then looked them up on Facebook and Google since I never heard about them. We spent 2 hours talking about what I was interested in. He asked me what my price point was. We spoke about what style I liked, placement of cabinets, drank tea and took measurements. I felt good about our meeting and I liked that he did not pressure me to make a commitment. With me, it’s not just about the job, it’s about how these guys made me feel. I feel important to them, respected and a priority. I feel as if they are interested in my daily opinion. They want to please me as a customer. They respect my feelings, my suggestions and opinions. From start to where we are now, I am ahead of schedule on the kitchen. They are here when they say they will be here. They understand I am living out of the garage and dining room. They respect that I have a child who has needs while they are here. They stay past 5pm until the work is done. They check up on my progress daily. Mike and Dominick come to see the work often. I can trust their workers with my house/property when I am not home. I can go to work and not worry about what’s happening with my house. I also don’t have to pay all at once. They broke up the entire amount into percentages so I pay as we go through the weeks. They schedule all the work/specialists so I don’t have lag time or issues getting steps completed. They make sure my job is up to code. And most importantly, they clean up before they leave, inside and outside. I can’t tell you how important that is with a child and a cat. I don’t have to worry about him getting into the tools or garbage. I also trust that they will do what it takes to keep me satisfied as a customer. They listen to my concerns/comments as you can see each day whether at my home or over text (my preferred method of communication). They came up with a timeline that was loose so we could tweak plans when necessary and so I could plan my life around the renovations. I am pleased at the progress made so far and look forward to using my new kitchen!
Selective Sculptures remodeled my bathroom. The tradesmen that came to my home were highly skilled and friendly. They listened to what I wanted so planning was a breeze. The office staff was professional and got all the documents my condo board needed quickly. My place inside and out was spotless when they left. Surpassed my expectations.
I loved working with this company! They saw my vision & made it a reality. The guys hired were so nice! I referred them to my friends parents & they hired them as well! They love their new bathroom as much as we love ours. When you have a big job like gutting a room & starting over from the studs you need to make sure you have the right guys doing it. They can be found at selective sculptures!!!
Hi Maria, Thank you for the awesome review. We really appreciate it. I hope you guys are enjoying the bathroom. Thank you, Bryan P.S. Say hi to the pig.
very difficult company to deal with. The project took 6 weeks to get 2 new windows, and then was promised the installation would take 1 day. It wasn't completed and I waited 5 more days with an unfinished project. The communication was terrible, the installer, although he did a great job, arrived unprepared for the job, and had to leave in the middle to get to home depot. The owner, Mike, was unsympathetic, difficult to reach, and often nasty. the only time they contacted me was for final billing. The windows seem good and I don't have any complaints about the project, but I would definitely NOT rehire this company. The best part of the company just quit.
Very positive experience. Worked with us at our own pace throughout the process. We were not in a rush and they never hurried or pressured us as we decided what we wanted to do. All work was completed within quoted time frames once we gave the green light to proceed. Trades did really high quality work and we are extremely happy with the end product. Workers were very respectful of the house. They covered items before starting to work each day and cleaned up well at the end of the day. The workers never rushed out on a day of work which made us feel like they were trying to do their best and it showed in the finish. There were some bumps along the way in scheduling and things outside their control that we had to work around as to be expected with any construction but they did the best they could and quickly and happily resolved any concerns we had during the process. Would definitely recommend all of the people we worked with between Dominick and Nick and the trades, Jay the carpenter and Max who handled the tile install. Thank you!
