I had been trying to get someone to fix my garage roof for 3 years but could not get anyone to call back. My daughter happened to see an S and S Roofing truck in Stamford and called me with their number. I called and Shane called me back that same evening. I had an estimate within a couple of days and was pleasantly surprised when they fit me in between some bigger projects. The crew is fast, efficient, skilled and very considerate. They cleaned everything up so there was no trace of trash anywhere. Very impressive. Shane replaced the gutter on my garage with a much better quality one and took the time to show me what he was doing as well as explaining why. Because I was having problems with the old gutters on my house and with the metal roof that was put on and not completed a few years earlier by a different contractor, Shane assessed the problem, gave me suggestions and walked me through each issue. I asked for an estimate to put up new gutters to complete the roof work and had the estimate the same day. The work was done the following week and I am thrilled with the results. I am very impressed with Shane and his crew!

We couldn't ignore our complicated roof after a pretty brutal winter in 20/21: we're exposed at high altitude and subjected to major westerly winds and continuous freeze/thaw cycles (massive ice dams that are as impressive to look at as they are damaging). Add to that quite a few roof valleys, combos of both steep and shallow roof pitches, and many cathedral ceilings that lack the benefit of full attic insulation (which you really also need to deal with if you want your roof to do its job). This isn't an easy puzzle. You can only realize the extent of what needs to be done once heavy rain and winds begin to reveal mother nature's work over a long period of time. Enter Shane and a truly pro crew: the on-site leadership brings a ton of highly valuable experience and everyone is kept on their A game through the process. Roofing is tough and yet they remain thoughtful, thorough, methodical, and willing to go the extra mile. I'm on the extreme level of meticulous and, when diagnosing issues, these guys spoke my language, leaving no stones unturned. I've waited until we got through the bulk of this winter to see how things held up and I can say the difference is night and day. I'd also add that aesthetics aren't lost on these guys either - a roof isn't treated as just a roof; it's a visual statement and the team were as attentive to color as they were to quality materials. You can tell i'm pleased - trust these guys with your hard-earned $!

We needed to have the roofs completely replaced on our house, barn (which had a large and growing hole) and another out building last summer. This was very big job, and S and S did superb work. They had an outstanding crew that stayed with the job until it was done, and the clean up could not have been any better, not just at the end but throughout the work. The roofs on all the buildings look great, and with the weather we had this winter I am absolutely delighted that I contacted Shane and asked him to take this on.

We are very satisfied with our new roof installed by S&S Roofing and Seamless Gutters. The job estimates and the quality of the work and materials used, attention to detail, and price point exceeded expectations. S&S also has strengths in their up-to-date equipment, communications with the customer, and job site cleanup. Once on the job S&S performed roof replacement without interruption. The roofing crew works well together in efficient process and work ethic, which helps to control costs for the customer. Plywood replacement, shingles and gutter replacement, and ice shield all were done within two days. S&S is a very good model of how an American small business company should operate. Would not hesitate to contract with this company again.

I am always suspicious when I see a review with all 5 stars. However, Mr. Levi Stoltzus was polite, explained what the problem was and how he was going to make the repair. Mr. Walter, kept me well informed about scheduling and when they would arrive. Finally, a good experience with a repair/contractor. These are the kind of gentlemen that I highly recommend.
