Great workers
The project is an improvement but not all that I was led to believe and expected. I was told by the project designer that the concrete could be lifted to nearly original height. After seeing that was not the case, I was told by the installer that was not possible. As I said, it is better than it was but not quite what I expected.
Would not recommend these people for foundation repair. My appointments were rescheduled 2 times with little to no communication. Took time off of work to be home for the installation and canceled on me that morning. Work quality was ok but definitely too expensive.
Saber is a quality outfit. Everyone we worked with was professional, knowledgeable, and extremely well-trained. Our estimator was Paul. He was thorough! Crawled all around under the house and then sat with us for a good 1/ hour explaining what he found and his recommendations for retro-fit. Marco was the foreman on the installation, working with Chauncey. They were polite, highly skilled professionals. Marco even found a plumbing leak, took photos and showed them to us. Above and beyond. In an age of "slam-bam, if you don't like the results of your job, too bad" the professionalism and customer service we experienced with Saber was a breath of fresh air. Highly recommend. It is a good feeling to know our home is secured to our foundation!

I had 2 ridiculously high estimates and then I had the privilege of meeting with Saber.

very rrsponsive
Very responsive, when called. Jason provided quote, was very helpful, straightforward and seemingly thorough. Then got the quote and agreed they had a fair price so I let saber know that I was willing to give them the contract. Things got really weird. There was a lot of pressure to sign the contract in 3 days. A lot of "my manager says this," and "I'm late with this contract" it felt like I was buying a car. Then, it took almost 2 weeks to get contacted by their home office. Then another 2 months to get permits. I get that it's covid time, but it was only because I started calling to complain that any motion was started. The work was alright, but seems inconsistent. The foreman was friendly, but when I went under the house, the work didn't match what I was told, the brackets were not spaced better than spec as I was told by the salesman Jason. There were a few spots I tried to talk to the foreman Justin about, but he shrugged it off as "it was obstructed" but I showed him a picture I took. I had already spent my lunch hour crawling around under my house to look at their work. I brought it up, but I had to get back to work. Inspector approved it without going under the house. All I can say is something is better than nothing, they look installed correctly, just not as many brackets as the drawing they gave me said. I should have gone with the more expensive quote, they promised an engineer to review the work. This was just these Saber guys' word.
