Initially quoted that painting the interior of my home would take 4 days, maybe 5 tops. Ended up taking 14 days. We boarded our dog at a sitter for the days they were supposed to paint and he did not come paint at all 3 of those days or offer to cover the boarding expenses. Used every excuse in the book that his employees were flaking/quitting to not having a baby sitter for his kids. Many days no one came by our house at all to paint while his trailer was parked in our driveway, supplies laid out in our garage, and plastic tarps were scattered throughout our home with our furniture. To top it off did a mediocre job at best. A couple spots were left completely untouched by paint or in need of additional coat. Guests have commented that our ceiling paint looks funky. Embarrassing. I did not want to write this review about this small business but John did not answer my text when I politely asked that he come back and at least paint the spots he missed.

Rock River Contracting did an amazing job painting my new home. The communication was great and all done through text. I wasn’t in the home yet and he was able to provide me with a quote without seeing the place first. They were professional, punctual, efficient and were able to get the job done all in one day! I will definitely hire them again!

John DID NOT RESPOND to several attempts to discuss a spot near a thermostat that he messed up. DOES NOT STAND BEHIND HIS WORK. DO NOT HIRE

Selected Rock River based on 5 stars reviews. Job: bedroom 15x20 walls, ceiling and trim. Job took 3 hours. We did have further texts regarding pricing and his non/professional attitude. When a review was mentioned, his attitude switched to begging me not to write a negative review stating it?s a small business shouldn?t be penalized due to buyers remorse, apologized for disappointing me and he?ll use this as a learning experience. Next morning, while in the room noticed a mistake (see photo). Contacted John with photo asking how he will rectify. No reply, nothing not very professional. My opinion is he?s a scammer with an arrogant attitude and does a half ***** job. $185 paint $675 labor for 3 hours (including error) BBB next?

I estimated the cost of the job based on what needed to be painted?we AGREED on a price. She has buyers remorse because what I estimated was now to high because I completed it faster than she expected. You pay for experience and professionalism. I did the Job well.

After a long discussion with this client I received three stars because after she agreed to the price and doing the job she had buyers remorse which is not my fault. I charge by the job not the hour. And a day later she wanted a $100 credit and I stood up for myself and my business and said no.

The project was completed but not to my satisfaction. I have had no follow up from the contractor. & several issues need to be fixed. I will not recommend nor hire again based on this project.

The house was filthy, trashed, and disgusting working conditions. She refused to actually clean anything prior to painting after YEARS of build up and never called or reached out requiring or requesting items to be touched up, all the rooms were repaired painted and edged as best as could possibly be done for the condition that all the rooms were in, it was absolutely atrocious conditions to work in. ??

We recently had Rock River Painting, LLC paint the interior of our home and are absolutely thrilled with the results! They were incredibly professional, meticulous in their work, and very responsive to our requests. The quality of the paint job is outstanding, with perfect color matching and a smooth, even finish. We would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a top-notch interior painter.
