Bobby was excellent. Called Becky in the office and I had someone come out immediately to service a slow draining kitchen sink. Very professional and I appreciated the honest assessment of the problem with a price quote.

Easy to schedule service. Work performed was very professional. Simple replacement of camper bathroom sink (which I provided). Less than 1 hr job cost close to $700. Overpriced.

Annual inspection for Diamond Club. We had an issue with a tub faucet; was able to resolve it. Excellent service.

DO NOT HIRE PRIDE PLUMBING. I had Pride come out last friday because of a clogged toilet and water backing up into my tub. When a cheaper option didn't work, he then had to do a much more expensive job where he removed the toilet and tried pumping from inside. that worked for a few days however the exact same issues happened just a few days later. Now, I was told that the job was under warranty and that if we had ANY issues to call them back and they would fix them right away. I called, and was immediately told we'd be charged again. Apparently, only the resetting of the toilet was under warranty. According to the man I spoke to (Steve) "anyone could just throw something in the toilet and clog it up again" My wife and I live alone with no children. No one threw anything in the toilet other than tissue and waste. Once again, do not hire Pride Plumbing unless you want to be lied to, and have the exact same problems in a few days, where they will try to charge you again.
Response from Company:
Josh, thank you for taking time to share your experience with us. In response to your negative review, we'd first like to share our technician's report of the work he performed at your location..."I was called out for a main line stoppage that was causing the toilet and shower to back up. After I arrived, I was shown the issue, and I went and found a cleanout and ran my medium sewer machine all the way out three times pulling back a clump of hair. I then ran my large sewer machine out twice without any debris being removed. I then informed the customer that I would need to go through the toilet flange to clear the stoppage. After pulling the toilet and running my large sewer machine three times down the flange, it finally cleared the blockage. I ran the shower for 10 minutes to ensure that it was completely clear. I had to reset the toilet twice because one of the toilet bolts snapped while I was cutting it to size, but other than that, everything went well with no leaks." He also provided you a one year warranty on resetting the toilet, and we apologize if this was not clearly stated to you. We were then called on the weekend for an emergency call - the line was stopped up again. This time you wanted us to come out and clear the line for free. That was when our lead technician informed you that drain stoppages do not carry a warranty and the one year warranty you were given was just for the toilet being reset. Why? As our lead technician advised you, anyone could deposit anything into the toilet. The original technician initially tried two different-sized drain machines at the cleanout in an attempt at clearing the blockage, but neither of them were able to reach it. It's been our experience that going through the cleanout generally has a high success rate, but unfortunately the blockage in your line was located somewhere that the first two attempts could not reach. It was only through pulling the toilet and going down through the flange that he was able to reach it and finally get it cleared. If he cleared it, then why did it come back? We did not run a camera into the drain line to determine its condition, but again, from our experience, it's possible that the drain line may be in poor condition due to deterioration, collapsing, or root intrusions which can cause toilet paper and human waste to get hung up in the line. We'd also like you to know that the original technician actually went above and beyond for you on the pricing. When he first put the sewer machines into the cleanout (only pulling back the clump of hair) he should have charged you $500 - the cost of doing this. However, he only charged you for going down through the toilet flange. Each area we have to run a machine into has a charge, but he gave you a huge break by only charging you for the toilet clearing. Josh, we?re sorry your experience didn?t match your expectations, but your plumbing needs are very important to us and we would welcome an opportunity to serve you again. If we can help, please don't hesitate to contact us - call 910-439-9598 - we are available 24/7. Pride Plumbing 205 North Main Street Mount Gilead, NC 27306
