Pride did a great job for us. They came when they said they would. They were very good with communication and very hard working. We quickly got our bid and they were able to start our work the next day. The crew dealt with the water in our basement and removed the ruined carpeting and drywall, moving and treating with mold spray all of our items. They finished that work all in one very long day. We had fans drying things in our basement for the next 5 days and someone from Pride came very day to check the equipment and they progress and also to spray again to prevent mold. We would highly recommend this company.

This will be the first of many reviews I submit for Pride Restoration/Jim Seubert/Armored Public Adjusters. One of the WORST decisions I've ever made was trusting this company, it's owners and subcontractors. When I say this was a nightmare, I'm not exaggerating. After a house fire, this project was riddled with absolute ineptitude on the part of management and the workers, shifting the blame constantly, delays that resulted in me being displaced from my home for over a year and a half. I'm still displaced and the stress and strain it's put on me and my family has been profound and unrelenting. Jim Seubert stayed on the job until the insurance money was in his hands and then left me high and dry. Delay after delay, not taking responsibility, blaming everyone including the City of Edwardsville for his ineptitude. It became necessary to involve counsel to even begin to straighten this mess out. The legal termination of Pride Restoration came to a head when one of their subcontractors became so aggressive with me, shouting and coming at me in my front yard, that a neighbor felt it necessary to call for police intervention. Thank God for the new contractors (who will receive glowing reviews soon) who had to go in, assess and repair almost everything that Pride Restoration touched, incur expenses of professional engineers simply to remedy the damages done by Pride Restoration. This ALL came at my cost, draining all savings/retirement money, since Pride Restoration received the insurance payout. Per their contract, subcontractors were to be paid by them for their work, which he hasn't done and subsequently, I'm now being sued. This nightmare hasn't ended yet as we continue to find out more each day. Please....if you have a fire or water damage, do not use this company. Do your homework. Especially if you are a single woman, it seems that we are the targeted prey for companies like this. Interestingly enough, because I've been vocal about my experience, multiple people have contacted me stating almost the exact thing happened to them. As this pattern emerges, I will continue to share these experiences so that the marginalized and vulnerable have all the information. After a horrendous event such as a fire/house explosion, where we lost everything, it is a vulnerable time where one doesn't make decisions well due to the trauma and shock. Jim Seubert presented himself as a public adjuster and the company as someone who would advocate on my behalf. Not only did that not happen but quite the opposite. This is exactly the time when a reputable and honorable company would walk you through this event with compassion instead of taking advantage of vulnerable people in vulnerable moments. I've lived here 30+ years. Many friends/acquaintances continue to ask why I'm not back in my house yet. When I share the story, they are horrified and incensed that this type of greedy behavior still goes on in our town. Many want the name of the company who treats people so poorly. I'm happy to provide them with that information.

Pride Restoration was hired on September 4, 2022 after a house fire. I will say the mitigation work that they performed was excellent, but as someone else has noted, was largely performed by contract help. We stopped by a couple of times and both times it appeared to be break time. But overall I was pleased with the results. Problems arose when the invoice for the mitigation was significantly higher than the insurance company estimate. Pride was paid the amount of the invoice, and have done almost nothing since then. Pride owner assured me the costs would be covered by insurance and offered his services as a Public Adjustor to help ensure we received needed funds from the insurance. We are now coming up on the one year anniversary and nothing - literally nothing has been done to put the house back in order. The conflict continues between Pride and the Insurance company over the mitigation costs, and because those costs were paid using some of the recovery funds, Pride says they can not move forward without running out of money before reaching completion. I had asked early in the process about what would happen if the money disbursed by the insurance company did not cover all of the costs, would I be responsible for coming up with funding, and was assured more than once that would not happen. Little or no communication unless I initiate it, no progress on either the financial resolution needed nor the actual restoration work has eroded all of my confidence that Pride will ever finish this project. For that reason I would not recommend Pride Cleaning and Restoration.

I called Pride Friday evening and they were at my home first thing Saturday morning with a complete crew who went to work immediately. Every member of the 10 person crew were friendly, professional, and took great care with our belongings. They worked tirelessly until the job was done! Iâ ve had a prompt response to all my questions and I feel confident this company worked with my best interest in mind, guiding me through the process. Thank you!

I cannot praise this company highly enough. They did a fantastic job cleaning up my-basement after the sewer flooded. They went above and beyond the requirements of the job. The job was resonantly priced and completed in a short amount of time.

They were on time with an excellent crew. Everything was removed within a 8 hour period drying time took 8 days. It was expensive but the job got done quickly and correctly. I don't wish sewer back ups and flooding on anyone. I would recommend them.

We hired them to remove wet insulation from a burst pupe. They removed most all of our insulation EXCEPT that in the most damaged area. We just went into the attic (2days after the job was "done" to see how things were going and found 2 contractor bags worth sopping wet insulation and removed it all ourselves!!! Two young kids were sent to do the work and no one went up after them to check to make sure they did the job. Would not recommend.

We came home from work and discovered our toilet supply line had ruptured and caused flooding to our main level and our finished basement. We didn't know what to do. A friend recommended Pride Cleaning and Restoration. I called them right away and was surprised I was able to talk to a person even though it was after 800 PM. I spoke to Jim and he was able to get a crew sent out right away. They worked until 2 AM and had another crew come over in the morning to keep working on saving what they could in my basement including my doll collection that was passed down to me by my grandmother. They also worked with the insurance company and I really felt they were looking out for me and not just the insurance company. Pride made a horrible situation tolerable. I hope I never have to go through this again, however I know I can call Pride to take care of me.
