Write a ReviewI contacted David P to get a quote for an attic renovation. David initially gave me a verbal quote for $70,000. A week later he gave me a written contract for $100,000. I still agreed to the contract giving him the benefit that he may have underbid. I gave David my initial deposit in April. Months went by, and David still had not shown up to start the job. He gave me numerous excuses, stating that his electrician and plumber quit, and the town was giving him a hard time with getting the permit. After months of waiting for work to be started, I had several arguments with David regarding canceling the contract. I contacted my town building department, and they informed me that a building permit was applied for in September (5 months later), which was contrary to what he had told me. David finally started the job in October, 6 months after I gave him my initial deposit. The plumber who was working with David informed me that he has not been paid for his work and that he was giving him the run around. I told the plumber whatever David owes him I will deduct from his next payment and give it to him. I voiced my concerns with David when my renovation budget reached over 84% and it didnt match the amount of work completed. He then informed me that the job will probably cost an additional $30,000 over our contract agreement ($130,000), which I told him was unacceptable. Around the same time, Davids subcontractor from the insulation company came to my home telling me David had informed him he wasnt able to pay for the insulation because he was waiting for a check from me. I told the insulation company I paid David specifically for the insulation a week prior. When I confronted David about the incident and stated all my complaints with the project, he decided to quit the job and told me I didnt owe him anything. He later tried to claim that I owed him more money for the insulation. When David quit, he had completed maybe 55-60% of the job. In order to complete the job, I hired a reputable contractor who had to correct numerous mistakes and poor workmanship done by David and his sub-contractors. My new contractor exposed Davids poor floor design and removed live electrical wires buried behind the sheetrock installed by David. David did not follow the contract, mismanaged funds and had bad planning. Dont be fooled by his 5 Star reviews.
HI Sean H Sorry we didnt work out but his was a project we completed in 2016 sometime. We completed all rough inspection that was sign off by the building department. We had frame new floor structure in the bathroom area over an existing floor structure making a new step, so we didnt have to cut into the existing ceiling on the 2nd floor to avoid removing any existing Sheetroock to save cost. Sean we had completed your project up to the Sheetrock phase we spray foam your walls frame all new walls and ceiling you was a great client until you didnt want to pay the next payment for the next bench mark. I find it odd after all these years.
They were Professional, honest and trustworthy. Specifically David, Paul & Derek. They did our renovations while we were in Florida. I would definitely recommend Pierre Construction for any of your renovation needs.
Excellent communications during the project, right on budget, timely service. Would recommend. Thank you!
David and his men are the real deal. The project went very smooth and the final product was better than I imagined. Not only are they skilled but they offered a clear line of communication and professionalism throughout the project. My wife and I were so happy with the addition that we already are planning them to come back for future projects. I highly recommend David and his team for home additions, custom work, decks, ect. Thank you David!
Thanks man appreciate it ?definitely enjoy!
Not only did they accommodate some additional projects (adding an electrical outlet, dealing with uncovering rot), they started work early and finished ahead of schedule!
The contacted me and made the appointment but never showed up. I tried to call them back and they didn't even answer. I had to find somebody new to get the estimates that I needed.
Hi Mike P we did talk a couple of times on the phone you said you found another contractor after we try to reschedule with you. We do not always get the appt request Thur this app We are sorry for any inconvenience. Wish you good luck with your project! God bless.
This company was professional, courteous, timely, very affordable and worked within our budget. They used their expertise and offered insight to help improve our project to fit our needs, and it worked out perfectly. I plan on hiring this company again for future projects and highly recommend anybody looking to get work done on their home to check them out .
David was very professional and efficient.
David is professional and responsive and the contractors he brings with him have been excellent. Heâ s almost completed work on one bathroom and he will be doing our second bathroom as well. Based on what weâ ve seen so far, we highly recommend him.
David and his company are extremely knowledgeable, extremely professional and actually really nice guys. They did great work, were on time and on budget. And maybe best of all, it was actually nice talking to them. Would highly recommend to anyone!
