Did exactly what I asked for. Was professional and got the job done on time.

He was very professional, offered me a lot of good advice. He was timely and courteous and did a great job with the work. It was a positive experience.

Not happy with the service or attitude I got from David when I asked him to repair the improper installation of a barn door and a bifold door. He also gave me an attitude when I told him that the exterior door had multiple scratches on it. He asked me what I did to it. Asked him to fix the bifold doors because they were crooked. He used his hand to bang the doors and said thatâ s all that I had to do. The next day when I attempted to open the door, it fell off of the track. All in, we spent about $10k on doors and his attitude makes me regret it. Lastly, he overcharged me for the installation and deposit. I had to send him the cancelled checks and Venmo payments. He never acknowledged that he was wrong until I followed up to make sure we were on the same page. Mind you, no apology was provided. If you decide to work with him- check all of the payments, thoroughly look at the installed products, get the warranties (he wonâ t give them to me) before you make the final payments, and keep your animals secure because his workers like to leave doors open.

Upfront David seemed honorable, however, has proven otherwise. I was requested to pay 75% upfront $11k - Which is illegal in PA, (contractors should not request more than 33% upfront) I paid as I was hard-pressed to keep my project moving along & he had excellent, which counted for nothing. Was told we would get Solid doors, but that was untrue. This is some sort of pressed wood. Sometimes he would show up he would not - To this day, never heard back from him, Still missing doors, trim has not completed the trim to ever door is different & uneven in making cuts. Doors were unlevel, and some could not close. I have since had to hire a Carpenter to reset the trim work and fix all door function issues, which is time-consuming & a lot of extra money. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this Company. I have multiple photos, not sure how to upload them.

We wanted to update 10 interior doors which were various sizes and not all standard. David came to our home, measured, and when the doors arrived, his team installed them in the existing frames in less than 2 hours. The doors look great and fit better than the old doors. We definitely recommend David and his team at Philadelphia Doors and Closets.

David was fabulous to work with and offered great design advice. The install went quickly and without any problems. We get compliments all the time about the look and quality of the doors. We had a minor issue, due to some natural shifting and David came out right away to make the adjustments. I would highly recommend David and his company to anyone looking to replace doors and upgrade with some style.

I would highly recommend this company!! David installed 5 doors in my home today: a fire rated door into the garage, a barn door, two folding doors and a bathroom door along with hardware. His work is excellent, reasonably priced, and neatly done. It was a pleasure to do business with him.
