Sean and his team did a phenomenal job rebuilding my deck. The structure was still in good condition, so the project was to pull and replace all the floor boards and cocktail railing. That was done flawlessly. Sean was also able to lay the boards in a picture frame configuration instead of the staggered boards that I had before. This improves the appearance and it looks much more refined. It was a 3 day project. At the end of each day the property was left spotless and all materials, dunnage and tools were removed. I would give Sean and his team 10 stars if I could. I highly recommend O'Rourke Deck Services for your project!

I consider myself as a picky customer so when a contractor meets my expectations, I'm impressed. The team at O'Rourke impressed me with both their professionalism and their results. I was happy with the work they did on my deck and patio. They responded professionally to my "what about this / What about that" questions before, during, and after the process. The only are of improvement I might point out - I would have liked them to communicate better. i.e. perhaps a text message like " weather looks good tomorrow, we are planning to come by in the afternoon." I would hire them again.

We found Sean and his team when looking for a local contractor to help us build a small deck alongside a backyard rework. This project required that they work in tandem with a landscaping crew that they did not previously know. In short, they did an incredible job and I wanted to call out two specific instances which will tell you why you should work with them for your next project: First, we had an architect draw up the small deck and thought we were ahead of the game. So much so that we already poured a concrete support due to having some garage work done and some concrete left over. When Sean arrived to take a look at the job he immediately noticed that the deck drawn up by the architect wouldn't make sense and asked if it would be alright to make adjustments to the drawing before we submitted for a permit. He could just as well have said, "well you paid an architect, I can build you what they drew" but instead he proved to be the professional that he is and more. This didn’t just

The O'Rourke team was a joy to work with. Sean came out, met us, listened to what we wanted in a deck, and came back with a very competitive estimate. He was happy to make some revisions, and we hired him. His team took care of obtaining permits, removing the old deck, preparing the ground (including a weed barrier), and building the new deck. Sean was easy to communicate with and kept us updated as things went along. We realized we had made an error in what we requested, and he was able to pivot and give us a beautiful deck that we use often. Our deck is the envy of the neighborhood and we love it!
