Poor communication, missed commitments, and questionable billing practices. I signed a contract on 11/3 for a chimney liner and hearth installation and paid in full. I was told the project would be completed by 12/18 and made it clear from day one that my wood stove was my only permanent heat source. On 12/18, after multiple unanswered calls, texts, and emails, I was told I wasn't actually scheduled and that they didn't even have a plan for the hearth. Later, I was told the hearth delay was due to a backorder. However, documents the company later provided showed the hearth was not ordered until 12/22. The hearth was finally installed on 1/14. I was then sent an additional $855 bill for the hearth without prior approval. I was also charged for work that was either not needed or not performed. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company.
