Minuteman Floors

Took our money but wasn't planning on completing our project or returning our deposit. Complete scammer. Had to get the police involved.

Minuteman floors came to my house in 5/30/25. I was requesting a quote to have my kitchen hallway and laundry room to have the linoleum removed and new flooring put down. He quoted me 2,510.00. He told me I would have to pay 50% so he could order supplies. I received an invoice via email for 1,255.00 which I paid via credit card on May 31. On the contract the estimated install date was 6/20-6/22. On 6/11 I received a call stating he was running behind due to the rain and he d called me in the beginning of the following week. I heard nothing from him so I called 6/23, 7/1, 7/2,7/10 and 7/14. Either his voicemail was full or I could leave a message which I did when I could get through. I never received a call back. On 7/3 I received an invoice for the remaining balance. On 7/1 I emailed the email where the invoice came from stating I have been unable to get any updates in my order and I wanted to cancel it. She assured me Stephen would call me back which to date he never has. I would like my 1,255.00 back and my order cancelled.

The wood floor we had needed cleaning but we found out that due to its age and type of floor, the cleaning would not improve it. We suggested it be replaced and Minuteman Floors gave us the information needed to make an informed decision. It was scheduled and we had to postpone and then they had to postpone, but this week all came together and everything was done no problems. People need to realize it is difficult to schedule items like this by the vendor so there needs to be give and take on the date/time. In the end we are happy.

Steve was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. His crew arrived early Saturday morning as expected. Vin was fabulous! He and another gentleman worked quickly, but with care. The floors look amazing! They even cleaned up so well that you would never guess they were here. I highly recommend.

We were impressed with them at every step - the quote was reasonable, the work was impeccable, and they kept to their proposed timeline despite some surprises along the way that could easily have added significant costs and delays. Highly recommended!

As a Property Manager, I can not think of a flooring contractor I would recommend more than Minuteman Floors. While in a time crunch and running out of viable options, the owner, Stephan , showed up on time, gave an honest and reasonable estimate, and had his guys finishing carpeting in our Offices less than 24 Hrs after initial meeting. His crew was polite, respectful, and hard working. Thank you again for going above and beyond!

The whole job from bid stage to installation was done remotely while we are away for the winter. Steve is a consummate professional who provided a fairly priced estimate of the work needed and answered the many questions we had afterwards with patience and thoroughness. He worked with scheduling his installation crew for a day when I could have a family member be available to allow access. His crew removed the existing stair treads and risers on two staircases, built a new plywood sub-floor for each staircase then installed luxury vinyl treads and risers over them as well as installing quarter round moulding on all the baseboards of our three level townhome in one day! The quality of the work was great and the home was clean as if a major construction project was never done. I would highly recommend Minuteman Floors and will definitely use them on our next home floor remodeling project!
